I purchased a pendant from Amazon for my uncle who was falling a lot at home. We thought this would be a good idea to keep family informed as he lived alone. He fell a couple more times after receiving the pendant but it never worked for him. We ended up putting him into assisted living. We have tried since August to get this pendant cancelled but the company has harassed us for payments even after we sent a power of attorney and invoice showing he is in assisted living. Now they are requesting a letter from the center stating he is in the AL home. It just goes on and on with more and more requests for proof that he does not need this pendant any longer. Free60 will not allow us to cancel. This is insane!!! my uncle who has dementia is being called weekly and they are demanding payments and telling him they will turn him over to collections. No contract was signed!!!! We just want to cancel. We paid the last bill of $83.98 which was supposed to be the last time they would call. That was when the account was to be closed. I was given an email address [email protected]
I sent an invoice showing that ***** *******(my uncle) is in assisted living and has been since June 2022 and no longer needs this pendant.
This is harassment!!!! and I want to report this company to all. I will not pay another dime to this company and I want them to go away and never call or bill my uncle again.
My uncles name and address are
***** ******* **** ********* ***** Gastonia NC 28052. This was his house address where he still gets mail. The Country Time Assisted Living home address is *** ******* **** Kings Mountain NC 28086 ###-###-####. My name is ******* ***** ###-###-####

    For
clarification purposes, if a customer moves into assisted living AMP will
require proof and copies of power of attorney documents (especially if a 3rd person is involved who is not the account holder). We require an email from the
facility or a PDF which contains a letterhead and signature of someone from the
facility’s management. AMP requires this to ensure that the document hasn’t
been altered. On Oct 19th, AMP received a Word document that did not
have a signature by management and the letterhead was skewed. This could not be
    accepted.

    AMP
was able to reach out to Ms. ***** and have the move to assisted living
confirmed. AMP closed the account on October 26th.

    Please
see the attached contracts regarding this account. AMP provided all docs to the
email, that is listed on the contract, on the day of the sale.
