Cautionary Tale In April of 2024, my elderly parents were unfortunate victims of a high-stakes scam perpetrated by Action Solar. They had unwittingly signed a contract worth $30,000 for solar panels, a decision later discovered to be invalid as one parent was mentally incompetent to enter into such an agreement. Despite being informed of this critical fact, Action Solar dismissed our concerns with a **** "too bad," insisting either to proceed with the installation or pay for the panels regardless.Facing threats of legal action, we had no choice but to allow the installation to go forward. The solar panels were installed in April 2024, but the relief was short-lived. By May 2024, inverters began to fail, and as of January 2025, seven out of the nine installed inverters had malfunctioned. When we contacted customer service, we were met with a disheartening response that nothing could be done until the inverter company, ***, issued a warranty service for the faulty ************ the meantime, my parents are burdened with paying for the ineffective solar panels in addition to their regular power bills, effectively doubling their monthly energy costs. As elderly individuals on fixed incomes, they now struggle to afford basic necessities like food. This exploitative situation has placed them in a dire financial bind.Adding insult to injury, after installing the low-quality solar panels, Action Solar promptly sold the contract to another entity, ensuring they received their payment while leaving no recourse for customers who had been misled and cheated. This nefarious practice traps customers into continuing payments for ineffective products with no viable way to seek justice or financial relief.Companies like Action Solar, prioritize profit over the well-being of vulnerable customers.

1 starWorst **************** deapartment I have ever dealt with. I had my system installed on 5/25/2024 and am still waiting for inspection/meter installation and turn on. Zero communication from Action Solar and they won't answer emails or return phone calls. It has now been 2 months and I still do not have a functioning system and I don't know if they have abandoned the project or gone bankrupt.Review fromJesse T

1 starI signed a contract with this company to install solar at my home. This all started almost 9 months ago with the contract agreement. They didnt start project until June, moved along very slowly. They put panels on roof, upgraded the electric service and that was where it has ended. I have tried working with salesman *** and project coordinator ***** up to this day with no results. The company they collaborated with is now wanting payment for a system that is not operational.Review fromLee J
