      I saw their ad on IG and went to their site to purchase a few dresses for upcoming wedding. When I was making my purchase no where on the site indicate they only issue store credit. There was no disclaimer or anything even up to point where the consumer click the purchase button. This is predatory and a scammed! I understand they are small business so i don’t mind if have to pay shipping cost or even 15% restocking fee for their overhead. They need to be upfront they only issue store credit and put disclaimer because they are misleading consumers and it’s not in line with online shopping.

As we explained via email, we unfortunately we are not able to classify an order as lost in transit, until it hits the full two weeks with no tracking updates. We are greatly sorry for this!       I am submitting this claim because I would like a complete refund of an item I recently purchased for $95 and now am returning. At no point during my experience using Baltic Born's (BB) website was it mentioned that BB only accepts returns for store credit. Had I known that BB only accepts returns for store credit, I would not have purchased from their website. This policy is not compatible with online shopping because one never knows how an item will fit until it is bought and tried on.

      It was a rude awakening to learn that this is BB's return policy after the fact. This is predatory and I would like a full refund. Having experienced this, I am no longer interested in purchasing/exchanging any further items from Baltic Born.

      Thank you so much for reaching out and we are extremely sorry to hear about this... Since January of 2020, our official return policy for all customers has been returns- for store credit only. As a smaller, sister-run business, we found that in order to continue offering our products to our customers throughout the world, we would need to enforce some stricter return policies due to the rampant issue of unsustainable returns being sent back in worn or damaged condition. We've seen competitors of our size adopt similar policies as of late, in fact. ?? We understand that not every return will fall under this issue, but enough do occur day-to-day that we instated this blanket policy that applies to all items and returns.
