In early August, a Grit salesman knocked on my door. I answered, and he started to give me his sales pitch telling me that his manager sent me to his neighborhood and it was an emergency. I politely declined to hear his pitch and closed the door, asking him to not return. Two days later, the same person knocked loudly on the door, rang the doorbell, and knocked loudly again. I asked him to remove me from their list of prospects, to which he asked "remove you from what?" I closed the door and he knocked again. On August 11th, I was returning from dinner with my family (including four young children) and as I pulled into the driveway, I saw the same salesman follow my vehicle up the driveway to the garage door. I reminded him that I had twice asked him politely to not return, and closed the garage door while he yelled his sales pitch at me from just outside the door. This sort of sales practice is predatory and unwelcome. Remove me from your list of potential clients and do not contact me again. Any further contact will result in me calling the police.
