The Lantern Festival in ******* was great! The weather was perfect and we had an awesome time! The instructions were perfect and even being from out of town, we had no trouble finding the venue or making our way back to our hotel. Thanks for hosting!

Like so many others my family has experienced a tremendous amount of loss in such a short period of time that has equally rocked and impacted our world in so many different ways. We have also been Blessed with new life, new chapters and love. And this past weekend in ********, I had the chance to experience and participate in the Water Lantern Festival. It was an incredible experience to bare witness to hundreds of families, friends, and strangers coming together to celebrate life,honoring/remembering loved ones, and taking a moment to look within and finally reflect. Highly recommend this event to anyone if they come to your city, it was inspiring, humbling, therapeutic and needed!

This event was located at beautiful lake Mayer, I’ve always thought this would be nice to attend and I finally did with my daughter.. It was well organized and the scenery, birds and tranquility of it was a dream. As more people started to arrive it started to get a lil too close for comfort but it is a park and if you suffer from any phobias definitely not the place to be. Also not everyone is kind and understanding. All in all though front row spot and great experience with loved ones. I especially enjoyed the DJ, and updates on what’s on the agenda ,story time and meditation which was a plus. Loved it and possibly would do it again!

I really enjoyed the event. A fantastic date night. Highly recommend the date night package. I would also give yourself plenty of time to do all the activities. I gave myself 2 hours and I felt like I needed more.

This company sold tickets to an event on 8/26. They then postponed the event due to rain that didnt happen. They rescheduled the event to a holiday weekend, changed the venue to a less desirable location, and no longer have all of the amenities originally offered, including food trucks. They will only refund people who bought protected tickets, even though all of these changes were their decision. This is bait and switch.

The event organizers claim that they clean up every lantern and leave the river or lake cleaner than when they left it. Yeah, tell that to the efforts of river divers and environmental activists in ****, **, who had to spend days and days of intensive labor cleaning up capsized overpriced lanterns from the Deschutes river after they easily breached their piddly little "barrier" that was set up in a halfhearted attempt to prevent the inevitable pollution. Not only did they offer a pathetic "oops, unexpected river current" apology, they bounced and left all sunken lantern clean up to the city whose beauty they destroyed. It's also worth mentioning that their entire "mission" and website is filled with platitudes about "love" and "hope" and "healing", yet they are openly a for-profit organization. Hope and love and healing for who? The wallets of two white dudes who stole the concept of Asian water lanterns and fight in court to pretend they invented it? Please. They say they 'support' water.org, but have no information about their donations. Total scam run by money-hungry polluting hogs.
