    I hired Tali over 2 years ago to build a retaining wall and extend my driveway into my backyard. He began the demo and prepped the ground for the wall foundation. He then asked for $5k for materials. I gave him a check which he cashed the next day. He poured the foundation concrete for the wall and then asked for another $6k for materials for the wall. He said the remaining $3,500 would be due after the job is complete. He did build the wall and even backfilled a portion of it. The quality of work, and the process is very questionable to say the least. But he did build the wall. Thanksgiving was coming up so he said they would be back after the holidays to finish the job. This was November of 2020. I have not seen him since that point. He will not answer a call, and very rarely answers a text. When he does, it's excuse after excuse after excuse and he just keeps pushing the timeline out further and further.

    I know I'll never see Tali again, and I'm out the money. I'm writing this to hopefully prevent others from being ripped off. I've given him $11k and have a half finished job that would account for maybe half the money. I got a quote to finish the job from another contractor. He told me $6,800 to finish the job Tali had promised to do, and clean up the gigantic mess Tali and his crew made.
