    To whom it may concern,

******** ******'s 2002 Acura MDX was towed into our shop on 11/11/2024. Her vehicle was deemed not repairable ( Total Loss ). Her insurance company ( CSAA General Insurance Company ) agreed to pay us for storage and administration fee's while the vehicle was at our shop. The vehicle was here in our lot for ten days before it was picked up. We charge $85.00 a day storage and $185.00 Admin fee, the Admin fee covers our time to take pictures, asses damage , write the preliminary estimate ,email insurance company, communicate w/ insurance company and the customer multiple times. The total that was agreed to w/ her insurance company to pay us was $1,035.00. ******** called us and said that she was going to retain the vehicle and have her boyfriend pick it up and repair it. That's when we informed her of the fee's associated with her vehicle being here in our shop. It is standard practice for the insurance company to compensate the repair facility for there time and for storage. I don't think ******** ******'s father ( ***** ****** ) who wrote this complaint knows that the insurance company reimbursed her for the funds that her dad ***** paid us. The owner of the shop was actually very fair and only charged ***** $600.00 instead of what he would have been paid by the insurance company $1,035.00. I hope this helps ***** and the BBB understand what and why she was charged.
