    My husband has been a customer for over 15 years, for home owners insurance and car insurance. We have never needed anything until now. No one has helped tell us what to expect with a claim, given us advice, helped us to feel like we know what we are doing and that we are confident with our choice. We had a to file a claim on our home. Our Neighbor should be liable. Their insurance is Allstate as well. Allstate's slogan is that we are in great care and that Allstate is "dedicated to providing outstanding service THROUGHOUT THE CLAIM-HANDLING PROCESS. Ironic as this is the first statement on the documentation I received, when I have not felt at all like this was the case. There has been an agent or two in the office that have been kind and tried to help us get connected with those that are handling the claim, but those "working" to actually help me with the claim have not been helpful, have not been timely, and have not followed through for us when we have had questions or concerns. Thank you for making me feel as if this is a company WE can no longer trust to do what they say they will do. Thank you for making this process painful and extremely challenging. That is not what good hands do when they "care" for someone. When you say you will return a CALL in 24 hours, you call back. When you say are you free at this time (5:00pm) tomorrow, I will call you then. That is when I would expect a call. When I leave a message, I would expect a return call. When someone in the office reaches out to the person working on the claim, that I am touching base, and have questions as I would like a call back, I would expect a call back. I am disappointed, I am frustrated, and I do not believe I am in good hands with those handling claims.
