4/18/2023 we signed a bathroom remodeling contract with granite transformations to redo two bathrooms in our home with there granite product. This was going to include tiled showers, counters, new vanity and all the plumbing involved. We are now aware that the Murry office in Utah is permanently closed and have not been contacted by anyone about a refund or when the work will be completed. In the contract we signed it states the approximate start date would be 8 - 12 weeks. We are now worried they have taken the money and never intend on doing the work.

As you requested, I have enclosed in an email to follow this letter - 9 copies of contracts, changes made, sketches, and payments I made to Granite Transformations beginning 10/26/2023 - totaling $16,707 - a 50% deposit on kitchen remodel. We have tried repeatedly to get ahold of the office to pin down a schedule for the work - they continually take recorded messages and promise to return calls but never do! The designer Grant S******** informed me on 2/2/23 that he is still employed by them, with a new manager - David L********, and that the previous manager Steve R**** had been fired. We were so happy with all the help and work that Grant invested in our project. We paid Granite Transformations to do the work. It is not our fault if the previous manager was dishonest or embezzled money as Grant claims Steve may have done. Why can’t Granite Transformations just do the work as promised - and get paid the other 50% when the work is done? If your company can’t honor the contracts we signed - NOT with Steve R**** - but with Granite Transformations, we naturally require our deposit be refunded in full.
Another bit of deceit, confusion, or outright evasiveness - seems to be still involved with your office in Murray, Utah, when I have called so many times to pin down the work schedule on our project - ###-###-#### - always on a recorded line. The gals who answer my call give some really nonsense answers - when I asked if they had my email correct (which was given on the first meeting on 10/26/22) - 3 times they had it wrong! And when I asked for the email for Granite Transformations, they refused to give it to us.
