On 11/17/2022, I entered into a contract with True K*** from Sunwest Flooring to have the tile and carpet removed from my home and replaced. The revised proposal (11/16/2022) listed the needed information to remove tile, carpet and toilet and furniture. In addition, "Remove and Re Tack Back up Boards in the area @$250.00. According to Mr. D*** it would take approximately 21/2 days to complete. The work crew had to reschedule from working here WTF to Thursday Friday only. I believe that the crew were in a hurry to finish my flooring because of other commitments. The baseboards were removed and thrown in my garage. The baseboards were not carefully removed, and many of the baseboards were broken into 3-4 pieces resulting in unusable baseboards. Mr. K*** agreed to replace the baseboards with a much cheaper type of board that did baseboards. Mr. K*** agreed to replace the baseboards with a much cheaper type of board that did not match the original moulding still around the doors etc. In addition, I had to pay to have the new baseboards painted. When I was trying to dust the new baseboards a few days later the paint and part of the baseboard was coming off. I am very frustrated with the end results of the new flooring, there gaps between the new floor and the old baseboards. Looks like a sloppy rush job. I have contact Sunwestflooring 3 times since the installation was finished. My return vent was put back upside down and the screws are stripped and I am unable to fix it. The new manager assured me that he would come to my home and fix it. Still waiting
