    I bought 3 pairs of **** ***** softshell pants for my outdoor needs, but the zippers will not lock and stay closed. Whether you size up or even just hold the pants in hand and test the zipper, it doesn't lock - in other words, it's a product defect. I contacted them about a replacement zipper, including sending required pictures, and they wrote back saying that the problem must be that I put the zipper under "excess tension." Yes, despite the fact that it's industry standard for casual pants (softshell, jeans, etc.) to use zippers that lock and hold - to the point that the rigorous enclosure of womens pants has become a frequent topic of comedy - **** has failed this basic requirement of producing womens activewear and blames its consumers for that. They would not fix the zippers but offered me 30% off if I wanted to buy more defective products.

    My experience with ****. I ordered a pair of pants for my husband as my son wanted him to have them for Christmas. After opening the gift, the pants were way to small in the stride. Upon returning the proper way and so he would have them sooner I ordered a larger pair and then proceeded with the return of the small ones. During this time my cc'd was compromised (not my fault) and the bank had to issue another. **** would NOT credit my new card on (on the same bank account)! They wanted me to go to the bank and have the bank do a charge back. My bank like me thought this was crazy. We did this and to this day 4 months later I have not received my money. These pants arent cheap. They now want me to approach my bank again on an issue that wasnt my fault. I asked if they coulld just issue a refund check. The answer again No," they could not do this." It has been a nightmare I doubt I will ever see "MY" money. Purchase at your own risk.
