    I bought fence slats (privacy screen) from Amazon.com. I went to the vendor's website to find an installation video and I found that the fence slats on their website were $10 cheaper per box (I bought 23) and shipping was free. I had to pay shipping on Amazon. I contacted ***** Source and was told that they supply suppliers with their product for resale. The problem here is that Amazon's seller for the product was their warehouse! I was going to return the product to Amazon and buy the slats cheaper on the vendor's website as it was about a $500 difference which is significant given that I paid over $1,900 for these slats! Anyway, I went to go buy the slats on their website and the price had increased to match that of Amazon's! Their business practice is very shady.

    The product this customer purchased is sold under a few different names and there are a lot of companies that sell this product. Companies sell it at different prices and we do not have control over that. Some charge freight and some dont. Some offer discounts and some dont. Some dont accept back returns and some do. We recommend that customers research all the alternatives before purchasing. Apparently this customer did not research. At the time they purchased the price may have been the lowest. The pricing is all over the place and it can change weekly. Since the pandemic prices have fluctuated a lot. You said it was $500 cheaper. It couldnt be $500 because you mention it was $10 cheaper and you bought 23. This is only $230.00. We looked up your order and the difference was only $125.35 for the entire order. You paid $76.75 (each) including shipping and our price was $71.30. We offer excellent service and quality products. You provide mis-information that is mis-leading to protentional customers.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    i did the math and the difference was $515.43. I bought the boxes at $64.75 each plus $279 for shipping and $141.22 in taxes totalling $1906.47. When I checked your website, it was free shipping and only $56.00 a box plus tax totalling $1391.04. The difference is $515.43. I was being conservative saying $500.

     

    The problem is that the product that I purchased through Amazon still shipped from your warehouse. Your business practices are very deceptive. I should have shopped around for the best price but why is the same product from the same warehouse two different prices? Are you telling me that you sell product to Amazon for resale and ship out of your warehouse? It doesn't make sense.

     

    i just wanted to note this and let everyone know that you are scamming people.
