    I would have put 0 stars if possible. ******************* who is the owner and president of J & M Constructors and his partner *************************** built our home. It took 578 days to build. **** has not honored the warranty on our home as listed in the contract and is unwilling to fix any of the issues with our home. The drive way is less than one year old. It has already started to crack and the top is crumbling. The front stair has pulled away from the rest of the stairs. Several electrical plugs did not work. We have a crack in our stucco that we have asked **** to repair on several occasions and he has not. We have called both he and his partner ***** and they won't answer and don't return messages. The only time we have been able to get ahold of **** is when we catch him at another house they are building. **** builds houses that cost a lot of money but they use poor workmanship. They drywalled over a closet. The door locks were installed poorly and doors stick and squeak. There are large gaps in the basement doors. It took them three months to find a plumber. Our house sat in the snow and rain for months with no roof. We shoveled snow off the plywood floors. The fixures in the bathrooms are not centered over the holes in the counter tops and water drips in the cabinets. The Garbage disposal was loose. It was dripping inside of the cabinet. The canned lights in the soffits are installed poorly. The carpet was not installed correctly. **** and ***** did not pay for the flooring that was installed in our home. The flooring company contacted ** and threatened to put a lean on our house. Since ***** and **** did not respond to our messages about this we had to track them down in order to get them to pay for it. I would never build a house with them ever again. Buyers beware.
