09/19/2023 at 11:47:04 AM I purchased 8.407 gallons of fuel that was advertised as 91 octane ethanol free blend. I paid 40.01 for this product. This product was found to be lessor octane than advertised. Dallas the worker at this store showed me proof of a test and told me that the octane rating of this fuel was indeed lessor than true 91 octane. He would not let me have a copy of the test results. This man and an associate in this store are very unprofessional and not courteous to their customers. I was accused of behaving on a manor that I wasn't. If anyone was behaving in a bad manor it was the gal in the front counter and the Dallas man than basically called me a liar and claimed that their produce has nothing wrong with it. This product caused damage to my high performance engine. It fouled every spark plug (8) in the engine due to it being a "lower octane rating." I spent close to 60.00 on new spark plugs. I also had close to 8 hours of my time spent removing this low octane fuel from my car's fuel system and changing spark plugs and fuel. I took this fuel in containers back to this location. Once I arrived at this location the fuel pump island was "closed" off. I went into the store to ask about returning this bad fuel and getting a refund for it. The Dallas man told me, his exact words "No refunds. That is not how it works in the oil business". If any other business had a product that was anywhere near faulty these businesses will offer a refund no questions asked. What makes this business, and OIL business any different than these others? All I want is for them to take this bad fuel back and give me my money back for that and reimburse me for the cost of the new spark plugs. Also attached is a picture of a sample of the bad fuel and a sample of equal from another fuel station. Clearly can be seen there is not only a sight difference between them but the smell is not like any fuel I have ever used or seen before.
