I have a lot of paperwork documenting the failure of Apex Customs in Utah in this transaction. Anthony "Tony" * B******** has admitted that he owes me almost $20,000 for work that he billed for but did not perform, parts that he said he ordered but did not order, and repair bills I had to pay someone else to fix his shoddy workmanship. Actually, he refuses to reimburse me what it cost (around $10,000) to have someone else fix his error where he allowed an inexperienced employee to cut into a structural cross member on my bus conversion and then let everything sit open & rust instead of finishing the job. He has admitted lying to me on multiple occasions when I backed him into a corner with facts. He is currently being sued by Heideman and Associates in Provo who are representing multiple customers who experienced exactly the same business practices -- many on a much larger scale. He told me that his solution to his problems is to declare bankruptcy and "everyone who is suing him will get nothing". He uses one customer's money to finish another customer's project (which is why he can't refund me) and also doesn't hesitate to take vacations with his family even though he owes a lot of people a lot of money. I wanted to start with a description of the issues and can supply paperwork if you'd like -- but I'm wondering what you are able to do where he is not BBB accredited and has no money to actually refund customers for the damages. Despite his offer to send me money and put me on a payment plan, I have not received payments as agreed.
