I was severely allergic to cats we discovered. from the very beginning of living in 207 the girls were keeping cats they should not have and hiding the cats when management came while using the line " the cat is so cute and cuddly so we are keeping it" there were 3 when I moved in. and towards the end of the first month being their the cat smell and cat urine became so intense. I did try to communicate with the girls that the issues were causing health problems for me and they said they would try to do better. but they did not do that even a little. and then when I was going through medical challenges in july I had an intense severe allergic reaction to the problems in that apartment and had to spend a day in the ER being observed. I was lucky I did not need an epi pen with how bad it was. but one of the girls who already had a cat when she first moved in found a cat while camping and came home and said to me " did you see the new cat , we found it on the side of the street and are going to get an esa letter so we can keep it" and she did get a letter from a vet who said : i will absolutely write that so you can keep it even though it was not her cat !" the night I moved out I almost had another severe allergic reaction and had to take Benadryl to be OK while packing my room and had to sleep in a mantaince apartment so I would be safe medically. even the manager at the time went in as well as other workers to that apartment from the office and said " dam I can't breathe" the fact that it was not addressed the first time it was noticed is a massive concern to me. given it was causing others aside from myself who didn't have allergic reactions to cats to have issues. why was it put off so long and why do people from the office who were going to help me with a health claim against the girls keep getting laid off for no reason according to someone recently. the inconsistency in management and inability to address massive issues is a concern

We were promised a bonus for referring friends to move in. We took a photograph of the flyers that they used to advertise the bonus and asked them for more information. We were told that each friend referred would receive $200 off for their second month and that we would get $200 for every friend we referred. Upon submitting the referrals and sharing the names of the new tenants with management me and my brother were promised $600 off of rent, and our friends Yeager, Warner, Parker, and Noah would each receive $200. When the second month came along me and my brother noticed that we had received no bonus whatsoever, so we went to the office and they reluctantly gave each of us a $100 bonus for the current month and $100 for the following month. We have not seen the other $400 that we each were promised and my friends have yet to see a dime. I have attached the flyer that they used to advertise the refer a friend bonus.

We are charged monthly for utilities that include an in apartment washer and dryer. The washer has been broken since October 1st and a request for a replacement or some repairs was made on the 3rd.
We have not received a replacement and no repairs have been attempted, we do not even have an estimate on when it will be fixed.
We are still being charged for the service that they are not providing and they are not keeping their end of the contract.
We have made several attempts to get the issue resolved but the office is uncooperative and deflective at best.

My daughter moved into a University Towers apartment in August of 2021. When we completed the walk-thru with the manager at that time, we listed several things in the apartment that needed to be repaired as well as concerns about the filth still in the apartment from past renters and the carpets being dirty. We were told on several occasions that they were working to complete these issues, and that never happened. We had to clean the carpets when our daughter moved in, and clean and sanitize the bathroom. Also while living there, other roommates brought animals into the apartment and management said they would make them remove the animals. This did not happen for over 3 months and due to health issues my daughter could not live in the apartment with animals. So while she was not living in the apartment for those 3 months we still paid rent. During this time management was changed and we were told again that all of our complaints and repairs would be addressed, but that still did not happen. We had finally had enough trouble so in July of 2022, we moved our daughter out of the apartment, yet we still paid rent in August because it was part of the lease. So we fulfilled all of our obligations on the lease, and University Towers did not, but then they charged us a $144 move out cleaning fee. I disagreed with this fee and emailed them about my issues and never received a response. Today I received an email that I was sent to collections for the $144 move out cleaning fee. How can they charge me a move out cleaning fee when the apartment was not clean when I moved in, and they never made any of the repairs or cleaned like they said they would? Also not responding to my emails seems like they are trying not to work with me on these issues. I would like the $144 move out cleaning fee removed from my account and off my credit report.
Monique Page and my daughter Adison Page are both on the lease. She lived at University Towers, *** * **** * ****, Orem, Ut. 84058.
