CERTIFIED TIRE & SERVICE PUT TRANSMISSION FLUID IN MY OIL AND CRACKED MY ENGINE BLOCK In 2021 I brought my vehicle (2016 ***** Suburban) into Certified Tire & Service for a routine transmission flush. After 2 days of back and forth with ********************* (manager) he finally confessed they had accidentally put transmission fluid in the engine oil and they would need another 7 days to fix it.After the vehicle was "fixed" it started leaking oil.Certified Tire & Service diagnosed the leaking oil with a faulty oil pan gasket they had installed when they fixed the issue with transmission fluid.Over the course of 2 years Certified Tire & Service replaced the oil pan gasket 4 times! Each time blaming it on a faulty gasket.Once the oil leak returned (for the 4th time!) I was fed up!I took the vehicle into another highly rated auto shop to diagnose the problem. They dropped both oil pan gaskets (upper and lower) and to everyones surprise they found the oil leak was being caused by a crack in the engine block!Upon further investigation it was determined (by a licensed auto technician) after Certified Tire & Service put transmission fluid in the engine oil they turned on the engine and let it run for several minutes - which is typical protocol when replacing transmission fluid. At some point - due to lack of engine oil - the engine seized causing the crankshaft to buckle, break and crack the engine block.Certified Tire & Service then replaced the crankshaft and used liquid weld to fix the engine crack. All of this was discovered 2 years AFTER I took my vehicle into Certified Tire & Service for a routine transmission flush.Certified Tire & Service deliberately hid the damage to my engine because they knew if they had disclosed the extent of the damage I would want my engine replaced. The owner of Certified Tire & Service, *************************************, refuses to take my calls and take responsibility for the damage Certified Tire & Service had done to my vehicle.
