I purchased a 2019 Tesla Model 3 long range from this dealership on 01/05/2023 and paid an extra $500 on top of the sales price in order to have "new" Pirelli zero all season 235/45R18 94v tires put on the car. I was not told what type of tires they were putting on, all I was told was that they were new Pirelli tires, and I'm providing the trim for reference. On 05/05/2023 my tire blew on the freeway, literally came off the rim. When I tried purchasing a new tire to fit the other 3 that were in good shape, Walmart, Discount tire, and Tesla all confirmed that the tires on my car are NOT supposed to be on my car due to the trim and weight capacity. ALL model 3s should have a rating of 98 and w or higher on tires, which the Pirelli tires are not since they are 94 Vs. I ended up having to spend almost $1300 for new Michelin tires the actually fit my car. I contacted the dealership on 03/06/2023, and spoke to Andrea who stated they would relay the information over to Paul who was the person who sold me the car. I spoke to Paul over the phone and was shocked at the way they were treating me. I requested for them to refund me my $500 that were spent on the Pirelli tires, not even requesting for them to cover the cost of the new Michelin tires. If they were to return me my money, it would be like I purchased the vehicle without tires. Paul stated he would check and requested that I bring the blown tire into the shop, which I did on 03/08/2023. Paul stated they would take "a couple of days" for them to review the tire and see what they can do. Tomorrow it will be 5 weeks that I dropped off the tire and no one has contacted me to fix this issue. I have reached out through text to Paul twice over message with no response. I called the dealership today asking for a manager and apparently no one was available until Saturday. I feel so disrespected and taken advantage of. I put my trust in a dealership and still paid extra money for tires that are not supposed to go on my car.
