    Purchased a "subscription" to their app which included a scanning device. This subscription is a 3yr subscription for $300. Purchased in Sept 2022. In Sept 2023, the app underwent an upgrade in Andriod OS which then rendered the app and scanning device useless. I've been in contact with the company and have working with them and their software developers since the onset of the issue. The solutions that are attempted do not produce permanent results and then I have to reach out again for support. I've stated a few times within this 4 month period that I wanted a prorated refund of my subscription since I've only been able to use the app/device for a year out of the three and will happily return the device. My refund request has not been acknowledged; only an acknowledgement of the issue and the response along the lines of that the issue is being worked on.

    Please see the attached screenshot after communication with the customer. Although the outcome is not what either party wanted, we tried to resolve this issue to make this customer happy. After a number of troubleshooting options we were unable to resolve this issue in a timely manner. We have acknowledged her refund request and have sent a return label to send back the device for a refund.

    The resolution attempts by the business was over the course of four months. "In a timely manner" stated by the company is a misrepresentation of timeliness. However, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
