      I am unsure of what to do as I have already sent money to the fraudulent individuals. I am now concerned about my safety and my finances. I am hoping to get some help to sort out this situation. I have contacted my bank and local police, but I am still feeling very overwhelmed. I need help understanding what steps I can take to mitigate the damage and make sure this doesn't happen again. I understand that I am responsible for my own safety and finances, but I need guidance on what measures I should take to protect myself and my finances going forward.
