This law firm fraudulently and illegally dissolved my FL based business (LLC) without my request nor permission. The action happened in March of 2025 and by May 29th of 2025 the action has not been reversed although they are aware of their wrongdoing. This has cost my business greatly as we have not been able to operate with a dissolved LLC.Business Response

Dear Mr. ****,
We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any disruption this caused.
This situation arose due to an unfortunate administrative error in which your LLC, which shares a very similar name to one of our client’s entities, and was mistakenly included in a dissolution request. We manage thousands of entities across the country, and while this is the first time an issue like this has occurred, we take full responsibility for the error.
As of the date you submitted this complaint, the entity had already been reinstated by the State of Florida, with a reinstatement date effective May 30, 2025. If you have not already received confirmation, we are happy to provide documentation reflecting the reinstatement.
Please let us know if there is anything further that appears out of order—we are committed to making sure everything is corrected and that your business can continue operating without further issue.

I am rejecting this response because: Because of this law firm's error, we were unable to file our annual report. Now that we are finally able to file, we will have to pay a hefty penalty for being late. At a minimum I should not have to pay for this penalty. I am still not okay with the tens of thousands of dollars we lost in business opportunities due to this error.

Very disappointed. They did a presentation at a medical society meeting in Florida . They were endorsed by the medical society sponsoring the meeting. What a mistake I made signing with them. First I had my finances and assets well protected but they told me that I was paying too much on taxes and they could save me a "bundle". Since I did not need the asset protection from their services, they sold me the tax saving part of their services for a mere $2500 instead of the full package of $8000. So gullible that I am, I fell for it. We had some conference calls and basically the "attorney I was working with said that he wasn't a tax attorney and referred me to the tax attorney. We had one conference call and when I called for the follow up the appointments never developed, he was busy or on vacation, whatever but not available. eventually they stop answering my emails and I am out $2500 and still paying quite a bit in income taxes. No refund.
Last email I sent I asked for refund or I would leave a bad review, email was ignored so here it is.
Don't fall for their lies.Business Response

Dear Dr. *******,
We’re sorry to hear about your frustrations and want to clarify a few important details.
We did have to reschedule your first appointment with one of our tax attorneys, ****, due to her being out sick. We communicated this to you first thing that morning, hours before your appointment. You missed the next appointment because you were running late getting home from the clinic, which is totally understandable. We did get that rescheduled a third time and held a full tax strategy appointment with *******, another one of our tax attorneys, in March 2024.
To prepare for that meeting, our tax team reviewed your submitted tax returns, organized your file, and tailored a strategy specific to your situation. You should have a record of that conversation, including the confidential details reviewed. We were in the process of reaching out to your accountant to help implement adjustments, and from our side, the main holdup appeared to be coordinating that connection.
To say we “lied” about delivering value doesn’t reflect the time and effort that went into the work we did. However, if you did not get the tax savings completed, it means we fell short even if there were troubles getting your accountant on the line. We remain very confident that if we’re able to finally bring your accountant into the conversation, we can help you save far more in taxes than the cost of your enrollment.
While we understand that the delays have been frustrating, we’re committed to helping you and would be glad to pick things back up so long as you're open to it. I’ll make sure our team reaches out TODAY to follow up. In the meantime, feel free to contact any of the attorneys you’ve worked with directly.
Sincerely,
****** **

I went to a Legally mine business presentation back in 2014, paid $5000.00 and they continued to bill me monthy premiums on top of that to my credit card which I noticed. Nothing they promised was delivered. NOTHING. No one bothered to call and follow up. That was without ANY Services -- without making any LLC or any estate plan. No one contacted me. I waited and waited. I asked my money back no response. They said they cannot do anything unless I have the premium plans. This is a SCAM. please do not get get caught to this.Business Response

Dear Vaji D,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention through the BBB. We take all feedback seriously and strive to address any issues promptly.
After carefully reviewing your account, our records indicate that we held 4-5 appointments with you in the first 6 months after becoming a client. During this time, we provided tax strategies designed to offer significant value surely exceeding the cost of the program. Our policies allow for a refund if the implemented strategies or entity blueprint did not save you more than the $5,000 or created too great of a time or risk burden. However, our records show that you discontinued the service in *************************************************************************************************** blueprint setup. From late 2013 to early 2014, we made numerous attempts via phone and email to schedule times to meet and fulfill our services for your estate planning and asset protection, with a record of 10 missed attempts to reach you.
Given the significant time that has passed and our documented efforts to assist you, we believe we have fulfilled our service commitments as per the contractual terms. However, we are still committed to addressing your concerns and are open to discussing this matter further to find an amicable solution. Please contact us at ************ so we can work towards a resolution.

May 27, 2023 I purchased their product under the condition of a money back guarantee for $8400. Was told if I did not save that much on my taxes in the next year then I would receive a refund. Was told by their attorney I would not qualify and should be refunded in June 2023. Was then told by their accounting department in June 2023 I had to go through their steps for a year to qualify. I did every step that was told to me over the next 12 months. Now it has been a year and I did not save $8400 on my taxes with their strategies. They are now making multiple excuses stating I did not do what was told in order not to refund me. I had multiple conversations with their attorneys and accounting department through out the year to ensure I was following all of their stipulations. Despite multiple emails with them they delay replying and are not issuing the refund as promised.Business Response

Regarding your situation, we have thoroughly reviewed what has been done. Because your current employer setup doesn't allow us to save you taxes equal to your investment, you are eligible for our *********** Guarantee. Thank you for following all the provided steps and maintaining communication with our attorneys and accounting department.
We hope that you will be able to use the suggested tax strategies in the future, as it sounds like your employment structure may be changing soon.

On September 8, 2023, October 15, 2023, and November 15, 2023, Legally Mine charged my credit card a total of $8,500, despite the fact that I never received any services from this company. According to the agreement contract, which I carefully reviewed, I was promised a full refund if I canceled within three days.
On the first day of our interaction, I made it clear to their consultant that I did not require your services and requested a refund. Subsequently, I was scheduled to speak with Ricardo on September 18, 2023. However, despite multiple attempts, I was unable to connect with Ricardo as he did not answer my calls.
In an effort to resolve the matter, I initiated a dispute with my credit card company. To my surprise, Legally Mine provided only the front page of the agreement contract during the dispute process, conveniently omitting the back page, which clearly indicates my right to a refund within three days of commencement.
Upon finally reaching Ricardo and explaining my situation, I was informed that due to the credit card dispute, I would not be eligible for a refund. This is both unfair and a clear violation of the agreement, as I had canceled within the specified timeframe.
I find this entire experience to be unprofessional and unacceptable. I am formally requesting a full refund of $8,500 as per the terms outlined in the agreement.Business Response

Our goal is always client satisfaction. We are sorry we didn't meet that expectation for you. Our policy is to always do our best to provide a satisfactory outcome that our client feels is fair.
After initiating services on 9/8, you did not make a request to cancel until 9/15 when we contacted you.
At that time, we attempted to contact you regarding your request, but were unable to reach you. We understand that you are very busy, and we wish we could have connected somehow via email, voicemail, text or call prior to a dispute being filed.
Unfortunately, in the event of a dispute, we have to issue a response to the bank, and we cannot issue a full refund once a charge is disputed. Such disputes damage our reputation and relationships with payment processing services.
As stated before, we do always strive to reach a satisfactory outcome that is fair both to our clients and to our company. We are very confident in the benefits of our service, and we would love to work with you to ensure that, between tax savings and asset protection, you can realize those benefits as well. Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your recent communication regarding the dispute and cancellation process. I appreciate the opportunity to address the issues raised.
Firstly, I want to clarify the timeline of events. On 9/8, I explicitly communicated my intention to cancel the service to your staff. I was assured that Ricardo from billing would contact me on 9/15 to proceed with the cancellation. However, despite my repeated attempts to reach Ricardo and follow up on 9/15 and subsequent days, I did not receive any response until five months later, when I finally reached out via email after obtaining his contact information from your staff.
Secondly, I must highlight the lack of proactive communication from your end. Despite my efforts to contact Ricardo and Amanda over several months, there was no response or follow-up from your team, contrary to what was promised. Even after assurances from Amanda that she would follow up, no action was taken until I initiated contact through email.
Thirdly, regarding the legal aspect of the contract, it is important to note that only the front page was submitted to my credit company during the dispute, omitting crucial information from the back page. The back page of the contract clearly states my right to a full refund if I choose to terminate the service within three days, which I attempted to do on the first day. Additionally, your company's guarantee of a full refund if I am not satisfied, as stated during the seminar, further supports my request for reimbursement, especially considering that I did not utilize the service.
In light of these discrepancies and the failure to adhere to the terms outlined in the contract, I urge you to reconsider your stance on the dispute and honor the terms for a full refund as specified. I remain open to resolving this matter amicably and trust that we can reach a mutually satisfactory solution.
Sincerely,
**** ******Business Response

Complaint #********** ******,
Thank you for your continued communication regarding this matter, and for sharing your honest feedback.
As mentioned, our records show that there was no desire of cancelling until after we had scheduled and held our Blueprint Questionnaire a week after work was started with us. From there we scheduled a call with our billing to see if there were any aspects of our service you still needed. On the day of the scheduled call, our representative, Ricardo, attempted to reach you but was unsuccessful. When you returned the call that day, Ricardo was in another meeting but promptly called back 30 minutes later, though there was no answer again. No further communication was received from the client until the charge dispute was filed 2 months later. Had an attempt to contact us been made after our last outreach or had the intention to cancel been communicated earlier this would have been an easy discussion. However, no such communication occurred before the dispute. We regret not trying harder to keep communication live once we didn't connect after we last called you. This is something we will evaluate internally so there aren't any more occurrences like this in the future.
We remain committed to finding a fair resolution and believe in the value of our services. If you are open to discussing a resolution we encourage you to please reach out as we would be eager to complete any Asset Protection or Tax Savings work with you.

They happily accepted a $4200 retainer in early July 2023 at The Aesthetic Show in Las Vegas, after I had explained my situation to them, which should have been a contraindication for accepting a retainer/doing any work for me.
They charged my card another $4200 in August.
A tax attorney from another firm explained why LM couldn’t do what they offered. I discussed this with a LM attorney who agreed with that assessment and agreed that there should be a refund.
They refunded only half of what they took.
Nevertheless, LM refuses to refund the retainer. Kind of like taking upfront fee for a case you know you can do nothing for.
This is after repeatedly endeavoring to reason with them with the hope that everyone can feel the situation could be resolved reasonably and fairly. To no avail.Business Response

Thank you for all of your patience in this matter. After reviewing your situation, and reviewing your attorney's advice that now would not be the best timing to make any changes with your assets. (and as you stated, our in-house attorney agrees with your attorney.)
Sometimes you can do the right thing, at the wrong time. So this is just not the right time to utilize our services.
We will be providing you with a full refund.
Please feel free to call me directly, when your situation changes. Remember your asset protection plan is about 1/2 done. Keep in mine, that at the time, when your situation changes, if you would prefer to use another firm, let me know, and I will personally forward your files to them.
This whole situation has been a series of crysises. All of us, here at Legally Mine, LLC. have a business philosophy. "A crysis doesn't create your character, it reveals it, to yourself, and your clients".
We hope that when all the dust settles, you will remember that we care about everyone, whether you're our client or not. We appreciate you.Initial Complaint

Paid over $9000.00 to get legal advice and set up and file corporation paperwork to start up my new business and protect my assets but never received any services.
I learned about the through Empire Medical out of Florida, spoke highly of them at one of our conferences.
After signing a contract at one of booths at the conference- I dealt h with multiple people by phone and never got the services I was promised.
I received multiple appointments times and waited for someone to call me to discuss the process to get my paperwork in order but encountered no one would call. When I called them they would reschedule me for several weeks in advance only to have them not call or miss their call bc they didn’t call when they said they would and then I would call back just to be rescheduled again. This went on for more about a year. They are vicious vipers to get money but refuse to deliver what they promise. It’s a scam!
Aside from the amount I was forced to pay when I couldn’t get out my contract- i was over charged $700 more than the amount agreed upon. It was a few months later that I realized they continued to withdraw funds from my account unauthorized despite me canceling ahead of time in writing as they indicated in their contract.
When I made them aware of this. They didn’t care and made it very difficult for me to get those funds back. Ricardo G***** head of finances is useless - it took months and many phone calls and emails to finally stop them from taking unauthorized funds from my account and I was only able to receive $700 of the unauthorized funds taken out of my bank account.
I reached out to them recently asking for a full refund as I never received the services they promised. A full refund is what is fair, after the $9k set back, failed promises, and poor customer service - I’ve lost confidence in this company and their employees. Dont feel safe working with them.
Now realize that I’m not the only victim who has been cheated by this company.Business Response

Here is the substance of our resolution, although I will add that we are very interested in understanding our client's perspective, and reserve the right to make other concessions.
My current understanding comes from our company's client logue. The logue is always date and time stamped for tracking supposes.
A brief summary is as follows. *****'s account is currently cancelled due to non-payment as of 01/10/2023. We would need a new method of payment to render any other services.
on 06/06/2022 ***** requested and received a $1,000 refund for month payments that she said she wasn't aware of.
on 06/06/2023 ***** requested a copy of our contract. We mail it to her. (It has her signature on it.)
on 06/06/2023 *****'s logue entry states that she was set up on a payment plan of 10 monthly payments of $900. She has made a substantial investment in her asset protection. We would love to find a way to finish her work, and provide the services we promised.
I am assigned to fix this situation, and I believe a solution is imminent.
Thank you for listening, and let me know what you recommend next.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
I have lost trust. I don’t trust Legally Mine anymore. I’m requesting a full refund for my “substantial investment” of $9,000 for breach of contract as evidence by the services they failed to provide.Despite them receiving the full amount agreed upon payment and more- I received zero time or services from Legally Mine.
If they genuinely wished to make this right. They would have created the paperwork for my professional LLC, asset protection, among the other things promised on our business contract when I finished paying but they didn’t. I’m not paying them a single penny more.
They took my money and more and did nothing to deliver what they promised.
I had to go to my bank and close my account to keep them from illegally withdrawing fund’s after I had already cancelled services 30 days before renewal. This was the reason for the refund bc they fraudulently took funds out of my account without permission.
Sincerely,
***** *****Business Response

I used Legally Mine to set up a business entity in 2016 to protect my assets since I am a veterinarian and medical professionals may be sued more easily than most people. After I stopped my expensive service with them, I had to pay them $100 annually to renew my entities. This involved them making a payment using my credit card number when they were notified by the state that it was due. Each year I signed a paper allowing them to make the payment. This year they increased their fee to do this simple transaction fee from $100 to $1200! I admit that I didn't read the two pages of legalese before signing as I have been paying this fee for a number of years. I didn't receive any type of email or heads up that "oh by the way, we are increasing your fee by 12X". I would have never signed the paper if I thought they would do such a thing. This is highway robbery. I called them and complained about the exhorbitant fee, but they refused to change it at all since they had already done the work. Meaning they had used my credit card to make a payment. I thought $100 was an excessive fee. Imagine my shock at this charge on my credit card. $1200 to make two $18 payments to the state using my money. I initially paid about $6000 to this company to set up the entities in 2016. Apparently they decided it was time to get lots more money from me for doing nothing. This hardly seems legal to me and I am planning to contact the attorney general in **** if they don't respond to this complaint.Business Response

****, we are very sorry to hear about the misunderstanding of your renewal fees with Legally Mine. We strive to add value to our clients every year including an annual review of your tax returns to identify ways to save $ on taxes based upon current situation, HIPPA and OSHA compliance, updating trusts/***** and any other aspect of asset protection, tax savings and entity creation. These services are benefiting most clients to a very large degree. You were grandfathered in at a rate of $100/month from when you initially enrolled. Since that time we continue to add services with no additional fee to you. The reality is you have been charged annually, not monthly for the fee you are referencing.
We understand that not all our clients would like to utilize our services after the first year so we offer you the right to cancel at any time.
