  I was pressured and coerced into signing up by one of my coworkers who is a 101 financial instructor on the side. I filled out the paperwork then later went home and discussed it with my other half. Ultimately we decided it wasn't for us. I instantly contacted the coworker who coerced me into it and told her that upon further review I would not be utilizing the program and to cancel my information. She tried to have my other half and I come to one of their sessions before making our decision. But the decision was set and I just wanted to cancel. I sent an email to the email on their website telling them to cancel my "subscription" before it even started. I never received a response. So I called their number and was told that since I never used my account they would process my request to cancel and send me a survey to fill out. Now fast forward two months later and 101 financial has charged my bank account $52.09 twice so far. I contacted them after the first charge and they said I should be receiving a refund and that they'd remove my information so I wouldn't be charged again. Obviously that wasn't the case as a month after the first charge, not only was I NOT refunded, but I was charged again. I have since called and left multiple voice-mails to which no one has responded. Ultimately now I have needed to go directly to my bank and dispute the charges with them and close the account that 101 financial has on record. Their customer service is non existent if you're not singing their praises. I would strongly advise against getting involved if you can.

  We are so sorry that you didnt have a great customer experience.  We give a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 30 days.  We refunded this customer as soon as our review process was completed. Our goal is to make sure that all customers feel that they received the benefits that help them with their financial goals.   They were on the payment plan which unfortunately the 2nd payment went through before we were able to complete that refund review.   The customer was immediately refunded both payments once we became aware of the request and completed our refund review.

  I remember seeing a lot of friends speaking very highly of 101 Financial, but I never thought it could work for me because I felt like I was in so much debt and that was just the way it was supposed to be for me. Boy was I wrong! I started with the beginner's course and graduated to the advanced course 2 months later where I paid off $13,873 that same week! I learned that it wasn't about budgeting (like I was trying to do all these years), but getting organized and understanding a better way to manage my money! I've since paid off my car 4 years early and 3 credit cards totaling over $21K. Biggest blessing in my life!
