    When we moved into this house the first day the sump pump was broken and flooded the basement we called them to let them know and it took them 2 months to replace the carpet but they “fixed” the sump pump by replacing it… we still heard the noise but they said everything was fine. Later down the road the leaking started happening again. Now when we told them it was still occurring they sent someone out who pulled a sock out of the pipes in the wall which was never checked originally but now we are being charged for it because they “inspected” the house before move in date and it wasn’t in it prior however they told us they replaced the sump pump three times prior to us moving in (which clearly indicates that wasn’t the issue). I haven been trying to get a hold of someone regarding the bill and was told they can’t speak to me because they are short staffed.

    Yes there has been a history of repairs on the property. At the time of this repair there was brand new equipment which when failed the technician clear identified an issue with an item that caused the failure and came from the tenants at the property. We have received the tenant communication and addressed it. Repairs like this are the reason that we have tenants carry liability insurance and we will be working on filing a claim for the repair. This would be for the tenant's financial benefit.
