******! NOT A PLACE FOR ARFID/BINGE! They advertise a product that is not really how it is. Very controlling like a prison. Concerns are met with gaslighting. Diet/food is strictly to gain weight fast even if you're not anorexic. You can't leave even if you know it's not the right prgrm without being stuck with an $1800/day charge. This is unethical. My kid was 18, I can't imagine dropping off a kid younger than that, knowing the environment is more like a prison. No outside time for sunlight. No light exercise/yoga. No meditation time. Inpatient is a ******************** goes there regardless of their severity. (my child was not at all severe) Even parental involvement and communication did not improve the situation. Within 24 hrs we all knew this was a mistake. They do everything possible to talk you out of leaving. If you self-advocate and stick up for yourself, they do not like that. The techs aren't professional. The communication is lacking which caused a ton of unnecessary distress for our child. They forgot to give meds first night. THIS place is for ********. Nothing else. Other mental health issues were supposed to be addressed but were not. It was all about getting them to eat 6 times a day. Within 24 hrs she knew she needed to leave. It took us parents calling insisting the form for W/D was signed that night! They don't tell you this has to be signed first b4 the 7 days of "getting their discharge paperwork" set up. What a great way to scam insurance. You feel like you have to make your kid stay so you don't go broke having to self pay for those extra 7 days even though you signed to withdraw prior to that 7 day wtg period. Dietary needs were communicated but consistently ignored and orders not put in correctly or timely. So she came home with very large distended tummy due to being force fed. I would never take my child here unless they would die otherwise. READ ****** REVIEWS. I feel totally scammed.

      We are
very sorry to hear that your
daughter’s stay did not meet your expectations and
that you felt the program was not up to the standard of care you had hoped for.
We take all feedback very seriously, especially when it comes to the experience
and well-being of our patients and their families.

      Eating disorders are complex,
      life-threatening illnesses—the second deadliest psychiatric condition—requiring
intense, specialized care. Treatment can often feel overwhelming because of the
seriousness and the nature of the interventions required to restore physical
and mental health. We understand that the process can sometimes be difficult
for both patients and their loved ones, and we are committed to doing
everything we can to improve the treatment experience while maintaining the
      highest level of care.

We strive to provide nourishing meals,
compassionate staff, and a structured environment to help our patients on their
path to recovery. We regret that you feel we fell short of those goals during
your daughter’s time here. Please know that your feedback will be reviewed by
our leadership team, and we will continue to evaluate ways to enhance the care
      we provide.

If you would like to discuss this
further or provide additional details, we welcome the opportunity to learn more
so we can address your concerns directly at [email protected]. We remain committed to offering the
best possible care to all of our patients and their families.

PLEASE please listen to me, DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot stress this enough! Im not saying to not get help, in fact please do, but not from here. Everything Im about to say isnt an exaggeration. I have PTSD from this place and I was only there a week! I have nightmares and panic attacks even a year later. They restricted most people from going outside with any valid reason, some they had a valid reason for but for most they didnt. I didnt feel the sun on my skin or breathe fresh air for a whole week. You wont be allowed to leave. It is a prison. You can only get out by keeping your head down and saying nothing. You cannot contact your family or the outside world. IF by small chance they let you, they tell you not to say anything bad about it. They keep you exhausted with back to back activities, more than half of which have nothing to do with eating disorders. ACTUAL PRISONERS HAVE MORE RIGHTS than the people who attend inpatient. Which they recommended anyone to regardless of whether or not they actually need that level of care. They will tell you that youre in inpatient because of health problems, but they cannot give you an answer for what those health problems are. After talking to other patients, they were ALL recommended for inpatient regardless of what level of care they were at. If you do have any serious medical issues not related to eating disorders they will not allow you the things you need to manage them. They say that they dont punish you for not eating everything, but they force you to supplement anything you dont eat no matter how small even if its rotten fruit. If you dont, you spend 3 hrs in a room by yourself. If you refuse 3 times they force a feeding tube regardless of whether or not you actually need it. They control your water intake, and if what they give you isnt enough to hydrate you theyll give you a feeding tube. They will put you in danger. This is the stuff horror movies are made of.
