My review of Tax Hive:While Im a fan of Mr. ********* when it comes to Tax Hive, Stay clear! My experience has been horrible. First I was lied to about the cost. Then once I was charged twice and had questions they kept pushing me off. It took over a week to talk to someone who basically told me they dont record sales calls and that theres nothing they can do. Everything Ive seen makes it seem like they give you horrible tax advice including volcanic ash donation. ***. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!Tax Hive

Our engagement agreements clearly outline pricing and payment terms, which are reviewed and signed before any charges occur. The tax plan we prepared identified over $100,000 in potential savingsfar exceeding our guarantee. The volcanic ash strategy you mentioned refers to a mineral donation approach, a legal and IRS-recognized tax planning tool that could save you over $50,000 in taxes if implemented correctly. 1 starI initially had high hopes for Tax Hive, and I am writing this review to caution other small business owners about their misleading practices. My decision to sign up was significantly influenced by the endorsement from ***** *******, also known as Mr. ********** Tax Hive promised a comprehensive tax strategy as part of their service, but this is not what was delivered.They provided three strategies: the first suggested donating $100,000 to a specific charity, the second recommended investing another $100,000, and the third was not yet ready for execution, with a promise to inform us if it solidified. These recommendations appeared generic and lacked consideration of our specific situation or circumstances, failing to identify basic strategies (contribute to a SEP) or strategies tailored to our needs. Implementing the strategies they recommended was simply not feasible.When I raised my concerns to Tax Hive and requested a refund, they insisted I meet with a senior tax advisor - an appointment that was not available for over six weeks. I have spent months trying to schedule meetings to request a refund to no avail. Their process seems designed to provide generic, unrealistic strategies while at the same time delaying and denying legitimate refund requests.I strongly advise saving your money and avoiding this company at all costs.Review fromDeborah C

I switched to Tax Hive hoping for a more optimized return than what I received from H&R Block, who has prepared my taxes for the last 6 years. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.H&R Block had estimated my 2024 refund at $14,071, while Tax Hives final return brought it down to $6,511 a significant difference with no clear explanation. I also discovered multiple issues in the return:My physical address was incorrectly listed as a PO Box on the 1040.The self-employment income calculation was inflated and did not properly account for losses from one of our businesses.For a service that charges significantly more than H&R Block, I expected better attention to detail and more proactive communication. Ive had to spend time flagging these issues myself.I do not recommend Tax Hive based on this experience and plan to seek a refund or correction of the return.Tax Hive

Were sorry to hear youre disappointed. After reviewing your situation, it appears the refund difference stems from deductions taken by H&R Block that dont align with IRS rules, such as overlapping vehicle deductions and treatment of certain property expenses.
