Several years ago I agreed to let Glide Cleaners do an introductory window cleaning, This was a one time cleaning. They have continued to harass me and said I owe them for additional window cleanings and now they charged my credit card $140.00 which I did not authorize! Although I will dispute the charge with my credit card company, this company is terrible and needs to be investigated. Look at the google reviews from other customers and you will see how unscrupulous their business practices are.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: They charged my credit card even though I never agreed to have them continue to clean my windows. They said I signed a contract. I have a copy of the contract they said that I signed and it is not my signature. They put in my initials so that it looks like I agreed to their contract which I did not! They are scammers! I want a refund.

They were supposed to clean our windows and solar panels. They missed half of the windows and didnt do the solar panels at all. They said they would come by and make it right, THEY NEVER DID. They showed up, knocked on the door and then just left, we were at work but it was captured on our ring. Irritated at that point asked them to cut the billing in half for windows and remove the charge for the solar panels and cancel the agreement as have absolutely no trust in this business.They refused and are now threatening collections. If I cant get resolution here Im taking them to small claims court, they are harassing us and just plain ****.Business Response

On June 1 a salesman came to my door and told me he had talked to my wife and said she was interested in their services. The salesman counted the number of windows and panes and quoted me a price. When I talked to my wife later that day, she said she had not talked to the salesman. On June 4 a technician came to clean the windows. He quoted a price that was several hundred dollars higher than the salesman. I told him his quote was higher. He eventually told us they would do it for the original price. After they left, I inspected the windows. There were several that were not cleaned. I called Glide and they said they would send out the technician again. When he came and we showed him the windows that were still dirty, he said he had already cleaned one of them and wouldn’t redo it even though it was dirty. We showed him several others that had lots of mud spots on them. He cleaned some of them but not others. I felt like the sales and service were dishonest and of low quality, so I called the Glide Office and explained the problems and said I wanted to cancel my account. The account manager apologized and said the account was canceled. In Sept, Glide contacted us and said they were sending out a technician to clean. I told them the account was canceled. They said it wasn’t canceled and there would be a $155 cancelation fee. I explained the earlier experience with the salesman, technician and account manager. They said those employees were no longer with the company and that they had no record of a cancelation and would not honor what the previous account manager had said. They offered to continue services or charge the 155 cancelation fee. What a frustrating experience. It seems like the right thing to do would be to apologize, cancel the account and drop the cancelation fee like I thought the previous account manager had done.Initial Complaint

Glide Cleaning washed my outside windows last June. I paid about $240 after I was told I received a $150 discount. When I called to discontinue any further service on September 27th, I was told that they would now charge me the $150 discount. I don't believe I was ever told the discount would be charged if I didn't continue their service when their representative gave me a sales presentation at my front door. I would like the $150 refunded to my account.Business Response

On July 23rd, a salesman for Glide Cleaners came to my door to solicit me to buy a 3 time window cleaning. The cost for each cleaning was $208. This was a discounted price for buying the package of 3 cleanings. On July 25th, a crew came out to clean my windows. As they cleaned my windows, they left the window covers (5 total) on top of the grass. This burned my grass and killed it because of the heat. I had surgery on July 26th, but when I came home, I sent a picture of the dead spots to Glide Cleaners. On Monday, I called their phone number and spoke to a person about the problem. He said he would have to talk to his boss about it. What I requested was to cancel my remaining cleanings and since I have already paid for the initial cleaning, just to be finished with their company. He offered me $50 off my next cleaning, but I don't want to work with a company who is that careless and the windows were cleaned, but not to a really excellent standard. I asked to speak with the boss, but he refused to talk to me and instead told me to contact the BBB or *** him.Business Response

Glide cleaned outside windows of my house on 6/26/24 - the door to door salesman sold me the service on 6/21/24. The agreement with the door to door salesman was if I wasn't 100% satisfied they would not charge me for the service. The commitment was to remove all hardwater stains, clean all of the seals, and leave windows 100% clean. The windows were still dirty when I inspected after the cleaning, hardwater spots were not removed, and some windows appeared not to have even been touched. I notified the company and let them know that the quality of service was unacceptable and I did not want to be charged or continue with any additional services. They now are saying that they only commit to making me 100% satisfied by coming out and cleaning again instead of not charging for poor performance.
