    I went to Olympus ***** and Performance for COVID testing. I provided them with my insurance information and they said they would submit it to select health. They did not ask for any payment. This was some time in 2021. I received no bills from them. I just received a letter from **** Billing and ******** Services (Debit Collector) that a bill of $451.31 will be sent to collections at the end of January 2023. I feel that this price is higher than the services obtained. There was no bill for me to look at. Olympus Health will not provide any information. They say to ask those questions to the ******** services. The customer service is awful, non existent. There is no one to explain charges or why insurance wasn't billed. The reference # from **** Billing and ******** services is ******

    This claim is under review by our third party billing company.  We are unaffiliated with the company that submits are claims or does not submit them in error.  I do know that they have tried to reach patients to correct claims and any patients that did not respond were sent bills ( according to the billing company) prior to submission to collections.

    I am rejecting this response because: Rejecting Olympus's claim because  they never billed Select Health, like they said they would at the time of service. I talked with select Health and they never received a claim for Olympus Health and Performance.  I was not contacted by any billing company concerning this until I was contacted by the collection agency. Furthermore, this didn't come to my attention until a year after the date of service, so a claim could not be submitted to insurance.  Olympus would not provide information to talk with a billing company about this matter.

    We understand that perhaps the third party billing company did not submit the claim. We will follow up with REDeMED concerning the matter.  They were also responsible for sending out a bill regarding the matter.  It is possible this did not reach you for a host of reasons.  We do not disagree that this is out of the realm of possibilities.    We will ask the third party medical billing team to submit the claim on your behalf.
