I hired a day-of coordinator to reduce the amount of stress leading up to my wedding. I decided to forgo a wedding planner as I already planned everything myself from the ceremony timeline to the venue. After my initial consultation with *****, I was confident she would be able to handle day-of coordination. She made it clear she valued my time spent with friends and family on my wedding day and assured me she would handle set up and take down so I could spend time making memories with my loved ones. I was clear about what I wanted and my desire to stay within budget from the start, and she agreed to work within my budget and was nice enough to give me a discount because I was worried about being able to afford her services. We also expressed we wanted a non-traditional wedding. DAY OF:When I asked her to fix the decor to look like the reference photos, ***** brushed me off and made me feel unheard on my own wedding day. During rehearsal, ***** got the order of the bridal party wrong. I filled out her Bridal Sheet, which had a separate section for MOH/BM, and I shared a copy with my bridal party so they knew their lineup. ***** blamed me for not putting it in the notes.A taco truck was scheduled to serve at 6 p.m. The taco truck failed to put us in the books and was willing to arrive by 6:45-7 p.m. at the latest. The groom confirmed with the caterer and *****, and a call was made to the caterer to call off the taco truck without either the groom or bride present. ***** told each person not to tell me. ***** tasked two guests to fetch the bride/groom tacos from Cafe Rio 35 minutes away, and sent another guest around town for 3 hours while ***** was coming up with her own plans. She would tell them it is what the bride wants although I was unaware of this situation. Guests said ***** was in full-blown panic, irritable, and unprofessional. She relied on guests to do everything and used the bride for things she didnt want people to question.
