I took a loan through Balance Credit- ******* funds it, I only took a $500 loan and paid most of it off, then refinanced as they offered up to $1600 I only took $400. In Dec. of 2024. They added the 2 together for a total of $900. I had most of the first one paid off already. I have made 15 payments of *****. I did not notice they financed a full $900 at the time. Now they say I still owe $903.00 Total financed should have been about $600 I believe. At any rate I have paid *******. I do not think this is correct and I want this marked paid in full as I have paid more than enough in interest. I did not have 200% interest on my first loan and would never have agreed. It's predatory lending!

Out of desperation, I got a loan from them for $1,000. I skimmed through the agreement but missed a very important part, which is the interest. The interest was over 160%. Id never experienced anything like that in my life! How ** is that reasonable!?

Have a TODAYCARD account with ******************** - they apparently transitioned it to ******************* without any type of communication. Instead I went in and attempted to pay my March 2024 bill online - having been offered that option it was the norm for the past few years for me - only to find the website was down. The website didn't have transition information -just that it was down. I made this attempt multiple times on multiple days and even attempted to call the number on the back of the card - doesn't ring through, so disconnected? I honestly thought they had been hacked and that was the cause of the issue. Then the text message bombs started with multiple messages daily "Please contact us regarding your Today MC. Visit *****.com or call us at 833-xxx-7760." Of course I just deleted and didn't respond because I thought their system had been hacked - my bank wasn't *****! Today (3/14/24) I replied to the text with a "please don't text me - send me a paper bill" because at least then I could verify what was happening. Well that provided me with a different number to call 866-xxx-6703, so I tried calling that number only to be frustrated with lack of a "live" option. CCBank apparently "transitioned" to ******************* and told that company that they had sent out letters and they were trying to charge me late fees - because I hadn't paid my bill due to inoperable website and phone number. Frankly, this is unacceptable because I NEVER received anything from them indicating there had been change in ownership of the account, so I will NOT be paying late fees. CCBank is absolutely irresponsible and negligent in their duty to their customers. I'd like to leave ZERO stars, but this won't let me.

Had a loan with CCBank for my solar panels, do not use them!!!! They are refusing to let me refinance without paying my solar panels off. Mind you Ive had them for around 5 years and paid more than required. Theyve held back my refinance that I desperately need to finish. Never disclosing this before only comment I had before was that the interest wouldnt stay the same after 5 years which was fine. If someone suggests using them run the other direction as I was to have this loan for 25 years and would have paid it off before then,

To Whom It May *********** to consumer financial privacy rules, we are unable to respond directly to the BBB regarding the specific details of any consumer account that *** or *** not exist. We can provide information about loans in general. Certain types of lending activity are commonly secured with a lien on a consumers property. A security interest on a loan is a common and legal method of ensuring the lending institution is protected from loan default. Further, such security interest is fully disclosed and agreed to by customers in their agreement with the financial institution. As a courtesy to our customers, when certain risk criteria are met CCBank often accommodates refinance activities. However, the bank is not obligated to accommodate such requests and will not do so if considerations are deemed high risk.Sincerely, ************* ********************
