After changing insurances I asked multiple times if my copay changed and they assured me each time that it had not. 18+ visits later, my therapist ambushes me with the fact that I was being charged less than I should have been. When he told me about it, he said it was one of the office staff's faults and he had asked her but she messed up and now I have to pay almost $2000 because of her error. I would have not gone in as much or at all because that price is not something I am willing to pay for an hour of therapy. I had been paying $20 a session when it should have been $90 a session. I then went on vacation and was unreachable for a few weeks and they added interest without telling me that they would.
I also received 3 separate statements with 3 different amounts and they have yet to get me an itemized receipt for all the sessions after having asked multiple times over the course of 2 weeks.
We ahve a payment plan set and I started paying so I don't accrue any more interest, but I am still very upset.
They also don't answer their phones when I have called. They answer 1/4 times.
