      ********* selling practices. Did not disclose company he worked for and in fact made it sound like he was with a competitor. Quotes a price but doesn't share the stipulations ( auto pay, 2 year contract required with $ penalties for early cancelation...).

      BEWARE of Caliber Smart salesmen telling you they work with ********* and that ********* is phasing out their satellite dishes. (This is a LIE) Caliber Smart tells you that they started calling ********* customers but it was too complicated so they chose to instead start with their best paying customers and have a face to face to explain this change. Caliber says if you don't stream you have no choice to switch to The Dish satellite. They will give you 3 free months if you switch now. They tell you they will beat the ********* price plus give you more channels. (Never received anything in writing nor does The Dish have info on the price drop or the channels that were promised) They take your email address and tell you they will send it all in writing AND THEY NEVER DO. Then when you confirm with ********* that they are NOT getting rid of their satellite dishes Caliber Smart will NOT admit to their lie. Caliber Smart apologizes but won't admit to the truth and then gives you 2 options-----rehook up ********* or take the Dish deal. So why should I do business with a company that LIES directly to my face? Mgmt at Caliber Smart doesn't respond to this lie with the email that was submitted. Caliber Smart---please pay for the cost of rehooking up ********* and STOP the LIES.

      I am complaining about third party Calibar a smart Communications through Dish. I was told I would get a $200 gift card after 30 days. Today 3/25/25 (my 30 days) was told by a Dish representative that it is only $100. I have talked to three different **** with no resolution. I tried calling Calibar at the number the Dish supervisor gave me and it doesnt work. I feel like I have been scammed just to get my business. I am locked in with Dish for a 2 year contract. I want them to keep their word. This third party is not good for business.

      I was approached by a nice young man at my door with my full name (and obviously he knew my address). He asked about my service with another satelite provider and I thought it was he was from that company and was helping to lower my bill. Never did he state at the beginning he was with Dish until I asked to see his badge. After he left I read all the correspondence about Dish and their agreement. I realized I didn't want to be bind to a 2 year contract with all these penalites if I decided to cancel early. I was given 3 days to cancel without penalty. I called Dish to cancel install and account and that was an easy process. But for some weird reason I just can't get a hold of this third party CALIBER SMART to discuss refunding the processing fee I am being charged. I have called a number ending 3447 (no answer) and another number ending 3474 (it doesn't even connect). I feel I will never get in touch with this 3rd party and get charged for things I NEVER received. If I do not get an answer by the end of today, I will submit a complaint through BBB to request a full refund.

      Looking in the account notes, ****** called in yesterday, 07/11/2024 and requested a refund. Because the transaction had been charged earlier in the day, we cancelled the pending transaction and the hold on ******'s account will be dropped in the next 2-3 business days.

      I have been trying for 2 week to Discontinue my service with dish Network. I have logged over 30 hours on hold waiting for an agent. Once I finally get to speak to one, I'm told I can't help you with that and placed back on hold for several hours. If another agent answers the call I'm told our system is down and can't help. even with Dish networks sever being down the managed to take funds from my checking account for another months service. I feel as if I'm being scammed. I can go on Dish Network's website and add channels text with an agent, but nowhere can I cancel my subscription. After spending countless hours and passed around from person to person I still haven't been able to cancel my service. I would recommed not using Dish Network for your Satellite Service provider
