I had just recently bought a car and noticed a jerking feeling so I thought it was a transmission issue. I knew of this business before and had taken my old car into this place and had good service so I figured I would go there first instead of a dealership to try and save some money. So I took it in they looked at it and said there was definitely something going on with the transmission and recommended that the transmission be replaced.. so I said okay I need the problem fixed so please replace it, they had my car for a few days called me and said it was ready to go. I came in it cost me $5000 out of my pocket(all of my savings). I had the car back for like two days and felt the exact same feeling, so I called them and told them hey I’m still feeling this jerking feeling and I just replaced the transmission. They had me bring it in again to be looked at, I was at work and like two hours after I took it back in the guy called me and said hey Kia just updated something I can’t remember what he said but he said the feeling I’m feeling has something to do with the all wheel drive his tech put something in the transfer case or something and to just put some miles on it. So I was like what the hell I just paid you guys to fix this problem you said it was the transmission and now that they changed it and I’ve paid for it now it’s something to do with all wheel drive? So I took it and tried to listen to them and put miles on it but it just seemed like it wasn’t getting better but worse. So I finally took it to a dealership and they said it was a barring in the driveline that’s going out and is a $1300 fix. So I had to scrape up that money as well that I didn’t have to get this problem fixed again! After the dealership told me this I tried calling action transmission to see if there is something we can work out at least give me the $1300 to get my car fixed or they fix the problem that they mis diagnosed. To be continued…

I had my transmission replaced this month. They called me to come pick it up. I came to pick it up and didn’t even drive it off the lot and immediately knew something was wrong with my car. There is a huge crack in the bumper that was not there before taking it there. Then when I got in the car and put it in reverse it makes a super bad noise sounds like loud rattling. When I’m driving at a low gear something under the hood like jams and makes a loud boom when letting off the gas. Looking under the hood and put the car in any gear the whole motor moves like if something loose.. and when I’m driving the car sounds like something is loose. I tried to express my concerns before taking the car home and was told nothing was wrong with it and that the crack was there before. When it clearly wasn’t. They treated us so bad and laughed at us like we were dumb. We took it home and called the next day to get ahold of Joe. And he tried to blame the guy acting like that because he lost his wife. Tried to blame the problems on the car saying it was like that before telling me my car needs new spark plugs (my car is a diesel) and telling me it could need new injectors. And basically told us they haven’t ever had anything like this happen. We took it back at 700 miles for the check they do we waited in the waiting room for over an hour waiting to talk to Joe I went up to the front desk 3 separate times and they just told me he will be done doing what he’s doing shortly. And never was done after waiting for an hour so I had to leave to get my kids from school and never did get the help I need. Honestly would not recommend going there paid almost 8000 dollars to be treated so horribly and to get my car back in even worse shape then it was before. I’m Very upset!!

I had purchased a truck in August 2021 that stated it had a transmission with a warranty. I have the invoice stating that the transmission that is on the truck has a 3 year/ 500,000 mile parts and labor warranty from the date 08/04/20 and at the time the miles were 126,197 miles. The truck as of now has 159,600 miles. I was driving on the freeway unloaded and the cruise set at 80 and the truck defaulted to neutral and the truck was no longer able to move forward or reverse, along with a screeching noise coming from the inside of the transmission this was on Jan.21 2023.
I had called Action transmissions February 2 to arrange a time to drop it off. Also talked about the warranty that was stated on the invoice. The warranty person named Joe stated to me that he was 80% sure that they were able to get the transmission under warranty, I dropped the truck off February 11. I had called Feb 20 asking what they had found and Joe stated to me that the transmission was gone and he had told me that the transmission only had a 2 year warranty despite my invoice. I was told to then call the manufacture of the transmission to figure the warranty out myself, Joe was stating that my only other option was a $11,000 transmission. With calling the manufacture I have been placed on hold for roughly 2.5 hours . Then called Action transmissions back and was placed on hold for a hour without speaking to anyone. Called once more 2/21/2023 and sat on hold for 15 minutes with no answer.
