  An extremely frustrating experience working with the owner. The project was poorly managed and poorly planned. Deadlines and expected checkpoints were ignored or excused away. Our job was clearly not a priority. 90% of the time he would not show up when he said he would, or would say he was going to the store and would be back later but would never return. He was frequently unresponsive to texts and poor at communicating. The best quality work was when he brought other flooring buddies to subcontract to them but he does not have the ability to finish the job to the standards he outlined prior to starting. His workers slept on our furniture instead of working and wasted months of our time, making it challenging to live normally in our own home. What we were told was going to be a 1-2 week job took 2 1/2 months. We had to complete the work that was left undone: unpainted baseboards that were poorly measured and attached (had to be removed, trimmed, painted, reattached, and caulked), drips and splashes of stain (had to repaint all the existing baseboards and paint cabinetry that had stains), damage to our tile from his work and equipment (had to be replaced), and unstained/unsealed areas (had to be stained and sealed). He was highly unprofessional in communication and project planning, quality was sub-par, and the time it took was ridiculous. Do NOT use this company for your flooring needs.

  Business owner *** is dishonest and not qualified to be working on hardwood floors. We worked with *** from the end of may through the beginning of August. We were doing a big project where we were matching existing hardwood floors and sanding everything to match. Consistently *** was uncommunicative, would not show up until after 3pm (sometimes as late as 8pm), and would blatantly lie about the quality of the project. On many occasion I would point out issues and he would say they would be fixed but never were. When finishing the project he stated the floors were done and demanded the remainder of his payment before we had the chance to review the floors. After reviewing the floors there were many issues, dents in the wood, holes not filled properly, stain streaks, dust stuck in the stain. These issues were communicated to *** and he committed to coming to fix the issues, but then did not hear from him again. He also took with him the wood registers that matched our floor to stain them off property and never returned them. We had to hire another company to come in and fix the floors and had to reorder the registers. Do not hire ***, he may be able to talk you into his abilities but he is not being honest. Save the money and go elsewhere.
