    On August 9, 2023 (their system was slow and the bank that shows transactions immediately was on instead on 8/11), I purchased 4 wardrobe boxes for way more than other places. It was $111.50 for 4 boxes and almost half that at a competitor.

    Realizing that I returned them that day, since the person I bought them for wouldn’t refund me that much. The worker took down my information and said it was a new system and so he wasn’t sure how to do a refund and that a check (are we in the stone ages?!) would be mailed to me. That check never came and I checked my bank records and no refund either.

    I emailed the store on 10/4 with a picture of my receipt and the store manager (that conveniently didn’t include their name on the email) said he would have a check mailed to my old address and my last name spelt wrong before checking all of that with me! He knew I was bought them for moving. (Spelling my last name wrong is a huge annoyance to me and shows lack of detail on their part when he copied down the information from my bank card.)

    Then I followed up after nothing came (I do have my mail forwarded from the old address) and checking my bank and nothing. I got an email response now with a name, saying they’d look into it and get back to me. Literally nothing ever since!
