    The proposal was made on March 28,2022 a check deposit for $275. was made at that time to install a sound barrier panel on my back patio to dampen the noise of my neighbors A/C. At that time Chris (project manager) said that Stuart Awning has materials that can be inserted in the panels to help dampen the noise from the A/C unit. A few weeks later I ran into Chris working at my neighbors house, I asked him if he could supply me with a sample of the sound proofing materials used, he said he is in my community every Tues & would drop it off. That never happened. I called Chris several times & left messages, no return calls. I contacted Stuart Awning and they said they would pass the message to Chris again no response. I finally called Stuart Awning to cancel the proposal as I had enough. The rep. transferred the call to Adam S***** (owner) he said he was ready to schedule my install but I told him I would like to see a sample of the sound proofing material to be used prior to install, Adam replied Chris is in my community every Tues and would stop by to see me, he said he would have Chris call me to schedule. I said when Chris stops by we can then schedule an install date. When Chris finally called & we discussed the soundproofing material he would be bringing we set up a date for the following Tues. I stayed home all day. No Chris or a phone call. I called Adam and stated I've had enough and wanted to cancel, he again said he was ready to schedule my install. I told him I wanted to cancel, I had enough of the bad service. Adam went off and began talking down to me and belittling me (my wife was also on the phone & heard his comments). He finally became respectful after my wife talked to him. He said he would get back to me with an estimated refund. About a week later Adam contacted me with a $75 refund, this is unacceptable to me. The proposal states a 33% penalty ($90.75) which equates to a $184.25 refund. I feel this is more than fair to all parties considering all the poor service and insults I've endured.
