      BUYER BEWARE!!!We were rented a defective car (bad front tire). The front tire went flat on us. My wife and I spent 2 hours calling Emergency Roadside assistance phone #. GOOD LUCK. Nobody answered the phone. We reached someone at the **************** phone # but all they could do was transfer us to the Emergency phone #. We spoke with a supervisor in **************** and BEGGED him to call Emergency # for us and give them our phone # so they could call us back. The Supervisor said he could not do that for us.We got the flat tire car to *********** They examined the tire and told us the tire had been previously patched (IMPROPERLY) on the sidewall. Big O told us they can not patch a sidewall leak. We ended up buying a new tire for BUDGET'S CAR.We have filed a complaint with Budget and requested reimbursement for the tire we paid for. Three weeks later someone from Budget contacted us and told us they will not reimburse us for the tire. Their reasoning is that we did not take the ********************* Waiver. I told them there was no damage by us. The tire on their car they rented to us was defective and needed replacement and went flat. We just happen to be in the car at the wrong time.No help from Budget. If you have a problem YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

      I had rented a car from this location for a family vacation. I had used rentalcars.com and had a confirmation voucher. When I arrived I was one of over a dozen people that were told the car they had reserved was not availalble and to wait until our name was called. We waited over 2 hours. When I was given the paperwork, I was pressured to get services I had already declined via my reservation. I had a written voucher with a price and what I had specifically reserved. The agent said she need a budget reservation number and not the reservation number I had on my voucher. She then proceed to quote me a higher number. I finally got to my quote although there were tax and other charges adding up to of half of my quote. The next day my credit card was drawn down another $200 above and beyone that. I did not receive paper confirmation of any of the prices being discussed.I spent an hour calling the customer service numbers for ********************** and ****************************** and was told there is nothing they could do. This was a franchise and they had no control over its operation and could not see specific information on my rental.Both of these companies do not operate on a professional level, do not honor their commitments and started a family vacation on a very bad note. Good luck if you use them.

      We arrived at our scheduled time last Friday, 8:00 AM, but our vehicle was not there. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the vehicle to arrive. Then, once the vehicle arrived, then the computer system was not working, so we had to wait longer. And there was not a paper option, we had to just wait for the computer. It was over an hour delay by the time the computer system was back up and we got on our way. This delayed our trip schedule and was very frustrating. To add to the frustration, when I called the customer service number this morning, I first got one set of choices to choose from, then had to wait, which is normal, but then after waiting for a while, I got another set of choices for your ******* office and none of them seemed to be for customer service. Overall, your customer service was very poor.

      This complaint is against Budget Car Rental at the ***********. I want to let you the BBB the bad business practices this company is using. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and do not have the energy to fight the big corporate machine. Here is my abbreviated story...I rented a car from the *********** Budget Car Rental for the first part of August 2023. *** experience was horrible. 1. ***re was a line out the door at 10:30 PM and the overall process was so slow compared to all the experiences with other car rental companies.2. When inspecting the car on the outside and inside in the dark everything looked OK. I learned later I guess I was expected to inspect the parts under the car too (in the dark)!!! I drove the car out of their driveway I heard a minor scrap. It was a 2022 Camry (I own a 2019) and the car sits low so I did not think anything about it. I had the car for less than 36 hours and drove less than 70 miles. *** morning before returning it I noticed that part of the undercarriage was not properly attached to the bottom of the car. At returning I mentioned my experience and honestly told them of the car problem that was preexisting. Once I got home they slapped a big charge on my credit card.3. When I told the attendant of the problem (Again trying to be helpful) she said that I needed to fill out a form and that they (?) would contact me. ***y never contacted me. Just hit my credit card. Maybe that was contacting me. Bad business in my view. 4. ***y sent an email itemizing the charges. Nothing added up to the inflated amount they charged. Again Bad Business! In my mind, they took advantage of being late at night and not being able to see under the car!5. This was a pre-existing problem. Because it was late at night and under the car, I could not see anything wrong. So because I was honest I got stuck with the repair. This is bad business.
