      My wife and I are in our 70s. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Logan 10 years ago. On November 21st, we hoped to recreate our stay by reserving the same room. Upon opening the door, we were disgusted by the filthy carpet stained with oil and grime. I tried starting the fireplace, but the switch didnt work. I wasn't going to stay in a filthy, non-functioning room. Not even the phone worked for me to call the front desk clerk, forcing me to go to the front desk to express my dismay. The clerk showed us two possible rooms; but to access either room, we had to walk upstairs on a filthy carpet. The paint on walls and doors was cracked and peeling, and the area smelled rancid. The first thing I noticed in both rooms was that all the lamps and the phone were unplugged. Before settling on a room, the clerk closed the door of the first room saying, "Let me show you something else. The room we had to stay in had the same issues! Additionally, the bathroom tiles were badly cracked, the stand-alone mirror had drippings on it, the towels felt rough, the window shades were inoperable in most windows, and three lightbulbs were burned out. The cost of the room was $200 per night, which was to include breakfast delivered to our room by 9:30 AM. We were never served breakfast causing us to leave immediately. Staying at the Anniversary Inn was truly a terrible experience. After driving several hundred miles to our next destination, my wife realized she had forgotten her nightgown in the room at the Anniversary Inn. I hoped that someone from the Inn would, as a courtesy inform me about the lost item. I found out that the employees at the Anniversary Inn would rather keep or discard items left behind. We were thoroughly disappointed and, disgusted with The Anniversary Inn. As of now, I have yet to hear from anyone representing the Anniversary Inn. I have not received a refund, and my wifes nightgown has not been returned.
