Several months ago I paid off the balance of my HELOC and have shown a $0 balance ever since. I recently just had my credit drop and a late fee hit me on said account, despite still showing a $0 balance (multiple months later). Upon calling ****, I have accrued interest I still owe but can only see it if I click into the details of the loan. Why would I click into the details when the balance shows $0? This isn't transparent at all. This is a backend system failure that I'm sure has hurt many. **** did credit back the late fee but the damage has already been done to my credit. This is the first time I ever have had a late anything hit.

Members credit was not reported as late, member made the payment within 30 days when account would have been reported as late, members account balance was at zero but their was still still interest from previous payments that was not paid off and was still due. We have contacted the member several times in the past month and advised them their credit was not effected and the interest that was still due on the account.

I called the bank in September 6, 2024 to stop payments until November 29, 2024 cause I am paid ahead. I signed the papers and the girls said they would stop payments and cancel as of September 6, 2024. I had a payment of 243.53. I want that refunded and to make sure everything is actually done correctly. I’ve had to call multiple times previously.

Deseret First Credit Union has an unusual way of doing business. They hold on to direct deposits for 45 days, which is illegal. I regret doing business with this company

Deseret First Credit Union is reporting a late on my credit file that is in accurate and not at all my fault. I recently checked my credit and noticed this on my credit file. I was refinancing the Deseret First Credit Union account and was advised by my lender and the title company to not make any payments as this could result in some mix ups with the refinance. However, it took longer than 30 days which caused them to put a 30 day late.
I would like Deseret First CU to remove/repair this late on my credit. This late is inaccurate.

I co-signed on an auto loan for my daughter with Deseret First Credit Union. Part of the loan agreement is that we carry insurance on the car and provide said proof of insurance to DFCU. After a month or so from getting the loan, we started getting demand letters from DFCU stating we had not provided proof of insurance and if we don’t, they will add an insurance policy to our loan at our expense.

I uploaded the proof required twice, called and spoke with Becky on 3-11-22 and with Yvonne on 3-24-22 after getting more letters. Both said the issue was resolved and to not worry. I have received at least seven notices in the mail for something we resolved by uploading the info online more than once.

I finally had my daughter go in in-person and speak with an employee, Taylor M*******. She was asked to email him a copy, which I did. Another letter came. I called him. Nothing to worry about he said. Another letter came, I emailed him with no result. Today I got a letter in the mail stating they bought an insurance policy which was added to our loan for $1,582.00, at our expense! WHY??? We provided proof of their minimum required insurance MULTIPLE times!!!!

I had bought a Van 4 years ago. I financed it threw Desert Federal Credit Union. They keep adding insurance to my loan even though I not only meet there requirements for full coverage. But well over. I have showen tons and tons of prof that we had insurance. And they continue to add more and more every couple of months. I have sent proff to there office, I have called, I even wrote a email to the CEO. Nothing. They keep adding these fees. I am done. After the almost $1300 they just added to a total amount of almost $10,000. People need to know of there actions and something needs to be done.
