    On 09-02-23 I took my daughter's scooter to Blue Planet Scooters. First and foremost, I should say they are very friendly and seem to want to be helpful. And I’m actually sorry I feel compelled to file a complaint. The only reason I am filing a complaint is that I paid them $223.04 to fix my scooter and they returned it to me WORSE than what I gave them. I took it to them cause it wouldn’t stay running. They put a used carb on it, which seemed to make it run, but when I went to pick it up, it would die every time I gave it throttle, AND the exhaust pipe was bent and it rubbed the back wheel. So I left it with them to fix it again and fix the exhaust pipe/muffler rubbing against the wheel. They fixed the rubbing, and said it ran just fine for them. So I went back and picked it up. Keep in mind I live a 2 1/2 hour drive from them. When I got it home, it ran, yes, but it's still hard to start. AND, they claimed that the electric starter stopped working because the battery was dead. NOPE! The battery is fine, but now the electric starter won't work anymore! It just clicks. Battery is at 100% full charge. When I gave it to them, the electric starter worked just fine!!! Now we have to manually kick start it, which we do. THEN on my daughter's first trip on it, she came home after dark and we learned that the headlight and taillight no longer work! Unsafe!!! Again, those worked just fine when I dropped it off! So then I had to fix those!!! AND, while fixing those things, I noticed that they did a crappy job of putting the scooter back together! I have pics of all the gaps and missing screws they failed to put back when reassembling it! Up to this point, I'd still refrained from filing a complaint. But yesterday, that damn USED carb they put on it is leaking fuel!!! It's the last straw! Yes, it runs now, BARELY, but so many other things are now wrong with it - things that were fine before I left it with them. I'm at my wits end; THAT’S why I'm filing a complaint!
