    Me: “I don’t think a repair this big is worth it on a scooter like that, just hold off and I’ll pick it up as is.”
    SL Scooter: The invoice is already $400 without the stator repair and that it still won’t start.
    Me: Expressed concern that “When I put in the service request with the tech, I asked to be notified before any significant repairs were done. I feel a little disappointed if I’m honest.”
    SL Scooter: Said if cannot afford to pay, I can just leave them with my scooter.
    Me: Agreed to move forward with the stator repair for a total of $500.
    Day 74 (8/24/23)
    SL Scooter: Updated that the stator did not correct the issues, and that we needed to replace the starter motor. They quoted $110 additional for this repair, bringing the total to $610.
    Me: I agreed to replace the starter motor.
    Day 79 (8/29/23)
    SL Scooter: Updated that scooter is done and that “The total ended up being over $800 but the tech said he will just charge $700 plus tax.”
