    *** is very dishonest. They quoted me a price and wouldn't honor it. I would buy elsewhere.

    the chance of ever purchasing another vehicle from Salt lake Valley GMC is right at zero. We sent a pickup in for warranty transmission work , were told in would be ready March 30, which came & went. 40 days later I was told it would be ready Friday, I asked what time because we were sending a truck to haul it back. Was told not till 6 p.m. so made arrangements to pick it up Saturday. Our courier called to confirm & was told it could be picked up Monday morning for sure. Based on Salt Lake Valley GMCs word the courier drove the 5 hour trip to Salt Lake only to be told it would be a few hours more. then received a call from service telling me that they are having trouble getting the transmission to talk to the pickup & will NOT EVEN be ready till tomorrow maybe. I now have a truck sitting in Salt Lake waiting to get this pick up costing us by the hour I am fairly certain Salt Lake Valley GMC is going to tell me they are not going to pay that bill, even though you are responsible for it.

    I made an appointment for my vehicle to checked for a concern 2 weeks in advance. I traveled 3 hours to get to the Salt Lake Valley Buick GMC service. I check in a half before my appt. at 9:30 am. They said it would probably take the day. The provided a shuttle ride to a mall. All seemed great until I received a phone call at 3:20pm while I was in the shuttle on my way back to the dealership. ***** stated that they had not been able to touch my vehicle because of too many backed up projects from the previous Friday. He wanted to know if they could keep it over night in hopes they could get to it. I told him I would be there shortly and talk with him. Nothing was every mention when I checked my car in that they might be too busy to get to it. Needless to say I couldn't believe that they had not time to run a diagnostic on it. I asked what the could do to make good for me and ***** stated that maybe we could get to it the next time I brought it in! I just stated there wouldn't be a next time!As I was walking to my car which by the way the guy thought it was in the back but had not been moved from where I parked it. I went back in to find the manager, told him what my experience had been and he immediately called the service manager. That guy was full of excuses. First of the excuses was if I had known you were from out of town I would have moved it up. (I had made that very clear up on scheduling and arriving). Then he decided to have me come to his office so he could look at the paperwork and also to get me out of listening range from the manager. He looked at the paperwork no one had touch it. He turned to me and said there is no diagnostic run which would take his Senior technician at least 2 or 3 days. I am no dummy he was lying and I knew, I looked at him, turned and left.What kind of idiots are running this place that they have such poor scheduling and treat customers this way... Just because I am a female doesn't mean I don't have knowledge!!
