I went to look into my options for a car loan and the salesman immediately took my keys and didnt give them back after stating they couldnt take my trade in then tried to convince me that my loan company made a mistake and that my car was actually included on my bankruptcy even tho I told them I reaffirmed the loan. They tried to convince me that I could just let the car get repossessed because the loan isnt on my credit so I could just stop paying my car and enter into a new loan with them they painted it as a loop hole for me to not be financially responsible and I should just leave with both cars. They tried to give me legal advice and convince me they did this once themselves. At one point I was nearly in tears saying I cant do this I have two kids to think about and they just pressed me hard and when I went to leave I didnt have my keys and they just kept manipulating and lying to me that the courts couldnt come after me for the money I owed on my car. Then when I got my dad on the phone and kept him on the line while I asked for my keys they had a pow wow to see if it was worth one more try to manipulate me into it all over again so I made sure they heard me tell the person on the phone Im at *** Dahle Mazda in Murray. They told me things like even if they sue you for not paying on your current car loan a judge would never make you pay cause you have kids at home to protect and you dont need to tell them you signed a new loan. They are horrible there, they mocked me as I walked out. I just want to make sure they cant ruin peoples lifes by lying and giving false legal advice. They almost ruined mine.Business Response

I will need to speak with all our employees to get the full picture of interactions with our guest. It is never our intention to manipulate anyone. Our goal is to assist our guests with their vehicle purchase which includes finding lenders who will buy the loan. It's regretful to hear our guests experience didn't meet their needs or expectations. We will collect all personal and sensitive information. Usually we dispose of this material in a locked cabinet which is emptied regularly to be shredded. Let us know if they would like us to go that route. I am rejecting this response because: I think its important theyre aware it went beyond just manipulation they attempted to present me with legal advise and loop holes to dodge my current car loan and not pay it and send me home with a second car loan on a new car. I know the lenders they work with would be disturbed to hear they sent a customer with a current $530 car payment home with a new $765 dollar car payment with the advice that they let the car get repossessed or towed and then find ways to get out of paying it. That not only would have affected my credit and financial situation but it would have affected both my current lender and the lender they were working with. It is unethical to offer false legal advise regarding bankruptcy or current loans and they lied when they said if my current car got repossessed it would never show on my credit. They had tunnel vision to get a commission and it could have really back fired for everyone involved. ****** and the financial manager with the office straight to the back are who I worked with I dont have his name but I can find his email he had me send him documents. The unethical behavior that took place was more than just manipulation. It was lies deceit and trickery. It was horrible business.

I purchased a one-year service agreement from Tim Dahle on 09/08/2023 together with a car. This service agreement provided that if I cancel within 30 days of the contract, I will get a full refund within 30 days of the cancellation request. On 09/19/2023, I requested to cancel the contract in writing (email) and for a refund of the fee paid. Outside of an acknowledgement of my request and despite multiple emails, I did not receive any information or refund in the last two months.Initial Complaint

We purchased a 2018 CX-9 with a bumper to bumper warranty at this location. About a year or two later, in March 2023, we traded in our 2018 CX-9 for a 2023 CX-9 lease. At the signing table, we were told we would get $1,125 check back for purchasing the bumper to bumper warranty on our trade in. Scott, in their financial department, let us know they were recently bought out by Tim Dahle and explained they were owned by D. Dahle when we bought our warranty. Scott said they would honor the previous warranty and I should expect a check for $1,125 within 10-30 calendar days. With this knowledge, we chose to set our down payment dollar amount to exactly $1,125. We never received the check and the window to pay the down payment was getting close, so Scott paid the amount in full on our behalf and told us to pay him back when we get the check.
We still haven’t gotten the check, but we paid Scott back with an extra $15 to thank him for spotting us the money.
My husband and I have called Tim Dahle Mazda in Murray multiple times regarding this check, but our calls are never returned.

Apirl 12 I purchased a car at *** Dahle I drove it 10miles home, the next day I tryed turning it on, it would no start, I called notified the dealership car is not turning on I was told it had passed 160 point inspection that if it had anything 50% or less functional they would fix it, they told me wait till Monday they would tow the car and get it checked. I notified them I was undergoing brain surgery and would be checking to se what was happening, Monday came I was operated and when I got out of operation I was told the car wasnt going to be checked until 10daya later. Then I messaged the dealership and told them no I was not interested in purchasing that car if it dosnt run for the 7 day worry free time I have to return it, they told me not to worry to worry about my recovery and when I was able to go in they would get me a loner car until mine was checked, it was probably something small, 4 days later I was called to return the loner car however my car still was in status unknown, I told them multiple times inwas Not interested in a loner car I needed a car for work, we looked at my options on trading the car and then they told me come back another day, after 15 days they took my loner car and made up a purchase agreement for an exchange car offering me 6k less for my first purchase, or they could wait to find out what was wrong with the car however it was my car my problem here me are almost a month I havent had my car one day my worry free time to try the car has come and pass the exchange is costing me 6k and I only had this car one day, since they picked it up to get it fixed and now are stating are not responsible for repair cost and do not know when my car will be fixed. I purchased this car had run 10 miles and its been in the possession of the dealership since it wouldnt turn back on, it was there possession when I clearly expressed if I could not drive the car for the first 7 day worry free time I did not want the car!Business Response
