      This company ******* and dimes its residents and customers. I've never seen an apartment complex charge so many fees. There's a fee to pay rent a fee to apply a huge fee for utilities on top of crazy rent prices. Owners never look at the property's or just don't care.

      Candlestick lane apartments is by far the worst place in the whole world to live. DO NOT live here unless you want to be ridiculed and harassed by the management team. They will take forever to do service requests when you need one. They are mean and have been very disrespectful. We have had mold in our window since December and it is now the end of March and nothing has been handled. They claim to have ordered the window back in January and said it will take 4-6 weeks. It has been almost 9. This is UNACCEPATBLE behavior and I will not stand for it.

      I could rant about all the ways my roommates and I have been screwed over, but this company is just not worth it. Terrible service and a major reason rent prices increased so drastically.Once small tangent and example: We had two leases over the last two years, the first starting at 2k a month for a 3 bedroom (already outrageous in *****), and the next lease increased to 2.5k. In the span of a year they increased our rent by $500, and the only reason was "it's the market price." They are a greedy, terrible company.

      I live at ********** Apartments in ***********, **. I've lived here for 9 years. Just this year in February, we were told we'd have trash valet services. I thought it was cool at first...until I found out we'd be charged an extra fee: on top of the ever-increasing rent. But I thought "Oh, sure. It's fine." This summer services stopped for 3 days. When I inquired at the office, the guy there was nice about it and said he would find out more. Sure enough, services started again. Then they stopped again and this time when I contacted the office because they had not picked up my trash on Monday, they told me trash was only picked up Tues-Sat. Which is not what I was told in the email they sent out in February (which I still have). I told the asst *** that the last time I was told anything about the schedule it was to be Sunday through Thursday. The manager said that she's sorry that I was misinformed, and that I should call the valet services' hotline myself. So not the same response as I got the first time from the guy who helped me. I just contacted her again a couple of days ago and told her that this last Fri. the trash had not been picked up again. She restated that services were from Tues.-Sat. and that I should call the hotline. Then, last night my trash WAS picked up...and it was a MONDAY!! aaaaahhhh!! wth I'm really ****** that I have to call a hotline number for a service that I did not request and that I would think the office personnel should be responsible for. I know I'm not the only one not getting their trash picked up. I even found a mouse in my trash the other day because they're smelling all this delicious rubbish. I can't believe I have to have this hassle that I didn't even ask for.

      Moving is already the worst, but add in -Your apartment not being ready on move in day (like flooring still being completed at 4pm move in day) -The apartment not being cleaned from the prior resident (and literally every surface is a disgusting combination of dusty and sticky)-Being told you would be getting new appliances in the unit only to find out that that was a lie to get you to sign a lease -Having literally 0 communication from the leasing office (including sending you your lease to sign so you have to drive there in person to get them to email it to you yourself) -Being charged for a security system that, again, 0 communication for how to set up or use is provided I could go on. The people in the office are genuinely nice people, the maintenance staff are also genuinely nice people, however, the entire process of moving in is an absolute nightmare. Communication is an absolute nightmare. There is no welcome packet of like "hey, this is when the trash comes" or "here's how to use your security system that we require you to pay for". The area - great. The grounds - great. The apartment, probably would be great if it wasn't 20 year old appliances or poorly painted counter tops...

      We moved into Barcelo in March, per move in everything looked and seemed fine. Unfortunately the day after move in was when the horrors evolved! We started seeing bugs everywhere! Since then we still have had no help in resolving the issue. On top of this we are also being charged $200 for water which is outrageous! We have a one bathroom apartment and theres only me and my fianc residing here. We also have had issues with having work orders fixed there is no communication what so ever. Yesterday 8/29/2022 an electrical outlet was buzzing from 5:30pm until on call maintenance could come look at it which was around 7pm. It was an uncomfortable call because he made me feel bad that he had to come out 40 minutes away to look at it. To me a faulty outlet that can cause fire is a good reasoning. My fianc is active duty military. He serves our country and has been for 12 years. We should not have to live in an environment that is unsafe and unsanitary.

      Management is terrible at the sure apartments. The manager is completely unprofessional and Rude and inappropriate.. I was visiting a resident ta resident there and waiting for my Uber to come pick you come pick me up and I was approached by her and kicked off the property with all of my belongings in my hand and had to carry them out to the street in 103? weather and she continued 2 Sit there and insult me the entire time I was grabbing my stuff to get off the property and and among the Insults one of them was that she bet that I don't have a job . I'm completely appalled by this Company needs to seek better management employees at their properties
