Why can't Cafe Rio go back to the way it was when it was good? They are advertising New Bowls, New Flavors and they are just garbage! Too much seasoning, too much added artifical spices. The tortilla strips are now ***** lime, the rice and beans have extra seasoning, even the meat doesn't taste the same. After eating there last night I got so sick from the seasoning that's now on practically every thing. They've lost this customer for life!! Guess I'm going to have to go to ***** Vida.

10/04/2021 Purchased a steak burrito and salad through Cafe Rio at the ************** in ******** **********. Painfully disgusting experience.. NEVER purchasing anything from CAFE RIO!After purchasing I took my to go meal outside to eat in the comfort of my own car. I sat down to eat the steak burrito and salad in my car as I do with most of my quick meals. I was about 2/3 through eating my burrito, when I bit down and felt a jolt of pain accompanied by ***** grit in my mouth while starting to swallow. I bit down on a fairly large object in my steak burrito, which chipped my front left tooth and almost swallowed it. I noticed something was wrong after crunching down and feeling a sharp pain in my mouth and feeling a ***** texture in between my teeth beginning to swallow. After stopping the process of swallowing, I immediately started gagging from the ***** bits that I had partially going down my throat. Looking through the chewed food I found what at first appeared to be steak, but was clearly not meat, bone, and or cartilage. The foreign objected felt, weighed, and broke off like rock. It looks like some granite or quartzite rock from what I could make of it from the patterns all over it. I immediately reported to the Cafe Rio manager in ******** that I had bit down and almost swallowed this identified foreign object at the time. He appeared to be inadequately prepared for such a conversation. As I was frustrated how this object even got into my food and that it had chipped my front tooth causing pain. I told the manager this was unacceptable and that I needed to get his companies and employers information to start a claim process with their insurance. He gave me his bosses contact number and I gave my information over as well to make sure the incident was being addressed. The foreign object (rock) was cooked in with either the beans or steak meat, because the rock was marinated in the same red sauce. There was no way of knowing or avoiding this disgusting
