  I recently had S&S Roofing install a new roof on my house. I was very pleased with their work. The quote they gave me was accurate, and they completed the job in a timely manner.

  the crew doing the work is undoubtably good at applying the roof to the house, but had no regard to the fact that with a low pitch roof, all impact on the roof is transferred directly to the ceiling below. this left cracks in sheet rock joints and nail pops.i mentioned this repeatedly with little to no effect.the roof does look great thnough

  S&S Roofing re-roofed our home back in 2008 with GAF architect shingles and did a fantastic job. We live in a manufactured home community and fellow residents and park management told us how good the roof came out. My neighbor, at the time, sat out in his backyard and watched the work being done and told me after they were done how nice a job they had done and that he would be calling S&S Roofing when it was time to do his roof. Their prices were were great and the employees who did the work were efficient and on time each day until completion and also did a top job of clean up afterward.

  S & S roofing did an excellent job on installing my roof and rain gutters. They were very efficient on the delivery of product, installation and especially on cleanup. They were also competitively priced and have recommended them to neighbors for roof replacement.

  S&S took a long time to get started. Then they forgot to paint the bright flashing they put up. Then they forgot to caulk around the ******** stove exhaust, which we didnt discover until the first rain several weeks later. Then they tried to get out of fixing/repairing since we didnt report it right away. Other than that

  Go with anyone else!! They cut half our siding half way up the side of the north facing side of our home and then did not put the flashing up far enough to protect the rain/snow from leaking into our living room down the wall by the front door. The weight of the ice block they removed the second time they came out (because of my complaint's) cracked the frame of our front door. We can not use the door at all. We are in a really big mess, and they could only tell me that they didn't feel responsible for any interior damage.

  I wanted to inform people about S&S roofing, as I spent over 6K on overlay to my existing roof a little over 9 years ago. I decided to go with S&S roofing. We discussed putting a 2nd layer over top as they stated it will be just as good, and a few thousand dollars cheaper. I originally thought they did a great job, and they had a site manager inspect the roof when it was finished. He came down and informed me everything was good. Now I am a 100% disable veteran who has had back surgery from supporting the war in ****, so I cannot climb up on a roof anymore. Due to the harsh winter we are in I called up to S&S roofing two weeks ago to see if I could get someone to check my roof out as I was hearing noises I have not heard before. She spoke to me in all reality very snotty way. She said, Well that was over 9 years ago and the warranty of the shingles are through the company who makes them, not us. If you wish for us to come, check your roof there will be a charge of $350. I said really, no thanks there is a couple of companies I will call who will check my roof for free, and hung up. I went on the BBB website and selected a couple of companies listed and gave them a call. They both came out and checked the roof and both stated the same thing: The shingles are fine, BUT there are issues. When they installed the shingles they did not run the shingles all the way to the house. They did not put any ****** or caulking to protect the water from seeping under the shingles. There is a very evident gap between the house and where the shingles stop throughout the existing roof. They informed me the only thing that is saving me is the existing roof that is there, because the water is going under the shingles and running down on to the original roof shingles. I will have one of these companies do my work. I put my trust into this company and I thought would last me 30 years. Dont believe what they say, and get it in writing. I will warn my fellow Veterans.
