    Contracted with LYL in February of 2023 for leads service. The promise was - pay LYL an exorbitant setup fee for Facebook ads, and we'd be getting qualified, wholesale leads (people looking to immediately sell their house for cash) in our region. They had advertised themselves as a "wholesale marketing" company. Things to note - I've run an advertising agency for 20+ years, I use facebook ads daily - they assured me they had a secret formula + used big data to only provide leads that were qualified. They guaranteed $100k in income from these leads and no fees for continually running the ads (besides the actual cost we'd be paying to Facebook).

    After 3 months it became clear these were no better than conventional facebook ads. They completely mis-reprsented themselves. I had already started to have issues with communication (they are VERY bad at communication after the sale). During the sale? Perfectly easy. After? Non-existent. I requested changes, updates, etc. - they virtually never responded. After this 3 month period I contacted the team multiple times asking them to see if we could part ways - split the setup fee (as they misrepresented things). Never heard back. I then went to my CC company and requested a refund based on fraud. Unfortunately LYL fought back and we lost (which is partially because it's a technically complicated situation). Since then (June) I've contacted the team and Tom dozens of times via email, phone - with 0 response requesting they at least turn the ads back on so we can get those conventional (not valueable to us, but we can hand them to a local agent and split commissions) in the hopes of seeing some kind of return.

    All in, this company is completely fraudulent. They lie about how they get/vet leads, overcharge, underdeliver and then disappear once the fees are paid.

    We hired Launch Leads in September 2022 to help us generate qualified leads as a small business. The contract was for a four month period for a total of $28,500. Based on their proposal which included evidence of their success with other similar clients, we anticipated 3-5 qualified leads per week (between 48-80 qualified leads over the course of four months). However, we ended up with a far lower number of 26. The vast majority of which were no-shows or a poor fit for the mission of the company, which shows us that they weren’t well qualified in the first place.

    These constant no-shows and unqualified leads were frustrating, to say the least. We lost valuable time on our full schedules each time a prospect didn’t show up. This was also costly. As a small business, we took a monetary risk by working with Launch Leads. We were mis-led by their false advertising. Based on their pitch, we expected qualified leads with enterprise and other well-established companies, but the leads they sent us did not have the scale or the budget to warrant a pitch. Every time we raised the issue, they would assure us that it will get better in the coming weeks but it never did. There was a bigger issue at hand in that they weren’t able to meet our ROI.

    We understand that leads take months to convert, but they have only provided us with two qualified leads with enterprise clients throughout the entire four month period, which resulted in zero proposal and zero sales. This underperformance and failure to meet scope obligations was more than misleading.
