      I entered contest to win free vacation to ****** for two. They called me to say I won and then started talking about all you have to pay is taxes and attend this meeting, blah blah blah. I dont appreciate the false advertising. Free means without doing anything at all. Deceptive practices I frown upon when doing business.

      The call the ****** received, was to verify her entry to the prize giveaway, and during the call she was informed that a sponsor of the promotion had an offer for her if she wanted. The offer included the same stay in ****** that she entered to win, if she attended a presentation. (See below for the exact wording)

      The drawing for the prize ****** entered has not happened yet, so she still has the potential to win the prize package. 

      Here is a portion of the dialogue and how it was explained: 
      Hi ************** am calling with the Rewards department and I wanted to verity the entry you submitted on ******** to win the Hawaiian Vacation Getaway I need to make sure al the information we have Is correct based on your submission. First I need to tell you that this call is being recorded for quality assurance and training.  

      Now I have the spelling of your first name as ******, and last name as ***** is this correct?

      Great ******, now we show you are single is that correct? 
      The entry form shows you are between the ages of 35 and 72? 
      You're currently employed and your annual household income this year will be greater than $40,000? 
      Your entry form also states that you are a US citizen and speak fluent English? 

      Excellent, now that we know all of your information is correct I am going to put it in the system for verification it only takes a second. While we're waiting, I want to Confirm your Zip code as:

      Congratulations, based on your qualifications it looks like one of our sponsors wants to offer you the same say in ****** that you entered to win!!! 
      That trip will be good for 4 days and three nights in Oahu. All you are responsible for is the taxes and were giving you 18 months to use the trip so NO Rush! I need you to grab a pen , a sheet of paper so we can go over your getaway details so Let me know when you are ready.

      I was called by this company and they set up a time with me to do an hour and a half zoom meeting in exchange for a free vacation. I was 100% interested in hearing them out. They wanted my husband to participate. I explained his disability and they didnt care. I asked for this to go to their management and someone to call me back. I never received a call back and never got the email to attend the meeting. I also never received any email with any of their contact information which I was also promised. They were not understanding of my husbands inability to understand a meeting and did not care about his disability. I think the person on the call and their manager wanted to hide this from the company so they did not take it further up. I want it reviewed by someone higher in the company as I dont think a large company would not many an accommodation for someones disability.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I received a voicemail and called back and left my phone number and email address and then never heard back. I received a call from another employee today who was calling me based off of being in the automated system not responding to this specific complaint. He said he will have someone reach out to me. He said it might initially be by text. I still havent heard anything new so I dont know why this issue is being marked as resolved as though its waiting on me. I called back and am waiting on them.

      We sat through a 90 minute presentation last year with the promise of a ************ vacation. We met with *********************** and ended up signing up for the minimum package. I had asked my sales representative on several occasions for the information to fulfill our promised trip. He always deflected saying it was in an email but I never had said email, then it was that hed get back to me and eventually no response at all. It was infuriating. Ive been trying to reach out as we have been planning to go to ************ this October but have not heard back at all. Ive been emailed, sent a ******** message, called the two different phone numbers I could fine and left messages for a ****** and ******** as well as sending a text to a ******* at the phone number that the customer service option gave when calling the main line. Im not surprised as seeing all of these other reviews I should have known better. I didnt file a complaint until now because I didnt know that I could do that, Id never heard of this. We are trying to go to ************ and already had this trip promised so Ive been trying to contact them recently and without any response stumbled upon the BBB page from my ****** search.
