    On 06/01/2022 on ticket : **** I dropped off a Seiko watch for repair model number: 6139-6002 for repair. I mentioned to them that I wanted a new ******** They found one at a price of $300.00 which I paid cash for on sales receipt number: **** and that was on 06/02/2022. Then they installed the ******* and the watch was working according to his wife. All of a sudden they informed me that the watch was no longer working. So I informed them to repair the watch. They found the problem and let the watch just sit. Not once did they reach out and contact through this whole process. I was the only one who contacted them. They informed that the watch needs a major component. He couldnt do his job and find the component or decide what process that he needed to do to get the job completed. I had to do his job for him. I found out that seiko could repair the component at a minimal price in just a few days after they received the watch. So I immediately informed them what to do. Send the watch back to seiko. I gave them the phone number to seiko so they could call and get the address of where to send the watch for repair. And that was about three months ago. I have not received a confirmation that the watch is ready for pick up as of yet. So in my opinion this company should not remain as a reputable business.

    As described by *************** his Seiko watch was brought to us for a ******* ************ The old ******** marred with scuffs and deep scratches showed signs of being well used. We kept the old ******* with the watch as is our procedure for our customers to have all original parts. After the watch was reassembled it ran for a period of time and then quit running. Our master technician (who has more than 40 years experience) who performed the work installing the new ******** reopened the watch to investigate the issue. He found a fracture on the date wheel component, which is made of plastic. The fact that the watch ran for a period of time indicates the plastic date wheel was the failure in the watchs operation. Installing or replacing a ******* does not require handling of the date wheel, or any other component of the movement.***************** watch has been reassembled, ready and waiting for pick up for 10 months.We informed *************** he could pick up his watch at that time. For 10 months he has chosen not to pick up his watch.Return to Seiko for repair of this component failure should be handled by the customer and the manufacturer as explained to ***************. We do not have an account with ***** for repairs and do not act as third party service representatives.
