Hey Culligan Man, thanks for nothing! They are refusing to help with water damages caused by faulty equipment and/or installation. We had a water softener installed in our new construction home on 12/15/22 by the Culligan company based in Ogden,Ut. ***************, manager and salesman oversaw and arranged transaction. On 3/21/23, just over 3 months in our home, the connector to the unit began leaking. The leak was discovered around 8pm after I noticed water pouring from my garage ceiling. The water damage is extensive and we are concerned about unseen damage in the walls and ceiling. We contacted the on call person twice and left voicemails without success. I was able to turn the water off to our home and bypass the softener to stop the leak. The next morning at 8:40 I called the Ogden office again and left another voicemail. The on call person ***** called me back and came out to the home a few hours later. He admitted it looked like the connection wasnt secure and that it was an installation issue. He said they may just cut us a check for damages but hed have to clear it through *** the manager. *** called back, offered to send some acquaintances out to dry out our carpet and look at drywall. He said it could be faulty connections they used that have been known to leak. We insisted on having it looked at by professionals so they could guarantee work. *** said he would not file a claim through Culligan. He then told us we had to go through our insurance and assume all costs. It was their problem. He said its not like it was installed 3 hours ago So unless your water softener has issue within 3 hours of installation, Culligan will do nothing for you. DONT call Culligan.

I set up a business account with Culligan water through a previous employer (*******************). I have not worked for that employer for several months. Culligan keeps calling and harassing me for past due bills apparently because the former employer has not been paying on their account. I've instructed the Culligan reps every time they call that this is a business account that I have nothing to do with anymore and they need to remove my contact information form their system and contact the company at the service address for the account. Each time the rep on the phone tells me that they are going to update the information in their system, and I will not be called again on this matter, but every two weeks or so I get another call. Culligan seems intent on harassing someone that has nothing to do with the account in question. This must stop.

I am rejecting this response because I received a phone call from Culligan harassing me for payment, again, on the very same day that I received this response from them. Every other time I spoke with them and told them that is a business account and I am not affiliated with that business anymore, they told me that they were updating the information in their system yet I still receive calls for months now. Unfortunately, this latest response via BBB and the phone call I answered today give me no reason to believe that any change has come from this yet because the response hasnt changed. Its completely void of any remorse for wasting my time and causing me undue stress, and is just beating the same old drum. Please, say anything but, the contact information has been updated in our system, because at this point Ive heard that too many times already; zero confidence.

      Sincerely,
