When I scheduled my first appointment to see Joseph A*****, the medical assistant told me that they took my insurance and therefore I set up an appointment. At my first appointment he looked at my hand and told me to get an MRI which another specialist before him had already told me to do. I told him that I have hEDS and that I was hesitant to do anything that would cost me more money and he pretended to be compassionate.

After I got an MRI I called to make another appointment. The medical assistant failed to tell me that they would bill the next appointment differently than the first appointment. At this appointment Joseph A***** didn't tell me anything new about my hand I didn't already know that isn't obvious to the general public and then proceeded to sell me on his $20k stem cell procedure. A few weeks later I received an exorbitant bill for about $800 for those two appointments. Then they told me that they didn't take my insurance.

The office manager told me that they'd "do me a favor" and knock it down to $300. I told the office manager that if I had $300 I would gladly pay them $300 to have the liberty of writing them bad reviews without the fear of them coming after me financially so that I could protect the publc from them.

Their office staff need to be trained better to communicate proper pricing and insurance conditions and they need to be held responsible for their unprofessional behavior. I would love to have the freedom to write them terrible reviews without fear of being pursued financially. They offered me no benefit at all whatsoever and then billed me $800-$1000 after telling me that they took my insurance. Now they have a collections agency coming after me for $1300. I was a victim of fraudulent inducement and extortion. I would love to see this clinic get shut down. They are most likely illegally obtaining and using stem cells and going against FDA regulations. I also want my credit report corrected as soon as possible.
